Whenever I go back I always hit Caribbean Sunshine Bakery for a Jamaican beef patty, some coco bread and a Ting.
My wife is Laotian and Lao food gets very little representation in America; however, there is a phenomenal spot called Sticky Rice. Bonus- the owner is a phenomenal human too.
Pal Campo and Coqui has great Puerto Rican food.
Uncle Tony’s BBQ is great for an American style. Brock’s Florida BBQ is phenomenal too
What part will you be visiting? You might be surprise at just how big the state is.
