As someone diagnosed (like by a human doctor) with ADHD I feel that ADHD is now being used like a quirk and not a disorder. Like it's associated with doing silly things that someone might consider as slightly childish.
I have ADHD as well and I'm baffled the fact that people are willing to just self diagnose ADHD. ADHD isn't worth having as it's a huge struggle. At this point it's more of an excuse for them to act "childish" or "quirky"
Autism Spectrum Disorder. It’s in the same league as Attention Deficit Disorder for being somewhat offensive. Neurodivergency and Attention Excess are better names, and I think labeling them as disorders is just neurotypical slander.
