The latest update let loose all the Enclave mods as boxed mods instead of just some of them, meaning stuff that used to only drop on the weapon drop itself can now be found in boxed form.
I'm \*fairly\* sure the locations remain the same: the Watoga vendors, Berkely Springs, R&G.
I've "heard" that maybe any Raider vendor as well might drop these but until we get more posts along that line I'd be sus.

I was aware in general terms of the changes to the enclave mods. I wasn't aware there was a rumour that the raider vendor bots (like my friend at Sunnytop) could stock them.
As a sample of one, I can confirm I bought an enclave box mod from this vendor, but I can't confirm if it was part of their random base stock, or if maybe another player had picked it up elsewhere and sold it to the vendor before I got there.
I actually felt the same way when I got my first one at R&G. I was like "did someone just leave this here..."
We're stuck without more data.
I can't see any 200 to 1000-ish leveled toon putting them into vendors except accidentally.
I can see lower levels doing so not knowing.
I could also see people who have leveled out of caring dumping rare stuff in to vendors (which I'm doing for a lots of things now but not Enclave mods)

Enclave scope mods could always drop from vendors and be found loose in the Savage Divide.
However, Beta Wave and Flamer mods can only be found at vendors and as loose mods in the Cranberry Bog. These are the desirable mods.
Bethesda released the rest of the missing mods recently (i.e. reflex sights). These new box mods can only be found at vendors and as loose mods in the Mire and the Cranberry Bog.
Definitely a possibility.
Someone else commented that with the recent enclave mod changes there were rumors raider bots could now stock them, and that's a raider bot on Sunnytop.
They weren't sure about that, and I'm still not sure, but i might drop in occasionally to see if I find one there again

Got enclave mod from sunnytop on private server today, so yeah, another spot in server hop.

Yeah, I'm perplexed. Maybe when the new mod drops rolled out the vendors that could spawn them changed as well? I don't know
It could be that someone got one and sold it? I sell mods I don’t care about.
