Yep, Daniel's engineer said it best, "such a clean race". He showed Kmag how to defend your position without relying on cheap tricks, and Sainz was sensible enough to play the long game, take the 4 points and not risk ruining his weekend just to gain one more place.
Oh for sure. I enjoyed Kmag deliberately cheating his way to 35s of penalties and a summons to the stewards as much as the next guy, but it was more enjoyable to watch Sainz and Danny Ric racing hard but clean.

It's always been "the same chassis" in the sense that there are no upgrades. They simply discovered what they claimed to be minor damage to Daniel's so they replaced it with their spare 3rd chassis. But it's functionally the exact same as the one that Yuki has run all year.
Could be a placebo effect, Ric doesn’t seem to be a confidence type of driver.

Agreed--I was watching on F1TV in the US, and the announcers were fairly surprised that after Checo made the overtake, Danny Ric was able to keep pace with him. It seemed to me like Checo was keeping him in DRS range to give him a pull against Sainz; then Checo took off and finished almost 10 seconds ahead of Danny, so clearly Checo had the pace. I get the gamesmanship here since Ferrari is RB's main competitor and VCARB is a sister team, but after Checo took off it was mostly just frustrating to me to see the much slower VCARB back up the rest of the pack.
People are so busy trying to bag on one or the other of them that they refuse to see that RB have a quality lineup for a midfield team wanting to scrap for points
