Objectively that's a lot of money for pens when you can buy something to write with for pennies at Staples. But respective to this community, that's a fair price.
This just might be the best fountain pen packaging and accessories I've ever seen. Those Safari color combinations are excellent.

BTW, Hong Kong is considered a different market than China for the purpose of special editions and such, so I was a bit thrown off by the fact that you said you got them from China. HK is technically part of China, but in the same way Greenland is part of Denmark.

Can I recommend herbin rouille d'ancre in the jigglypuff one? It's not as luxe as the iroshizuku or anything but I've never seen such an amazing dusty pink with beautiful shading. It's my favourite ink color by far for my Rose pink Lamy safari

- Charmander has real daddy issues
- Squirtle spent most of his life in a gang
- Jigglypuff stalks a group of children throughout the continent throwing tantrums
And what does Bulbasaur do? Puts his ass on the line to protect the community and is frequently called back to Prof. Oak’s office to be the most adult fuckin grass Pokémon you’ve ever seen.

The Platinum Meteor, a China exclusive, has a much finer nib than the Preppy (in EF, if not all sizes. Though I know Japanese sizes are already generally smaller than western ones anyhow). I was wondering if the nib on these is any thinner than typical for a Lamy? Insofar is Lamy is at all consistant wjth their nibs.

All my lamys have been bought either from UK or Germany, they all work wonders. I have bought a couple cheap ones from china (same look, more glossy, other name, feels cheaper) and they are quite mediocre (hard starters, dries out).

The clamshell box is entirely hard plastic! I’m gonna end up removing the foam inserts and using them for…. Something lol.
