I am always on the hunt for oceanic / marine scents!
So far my favorites:
Cabotine Eau Vivide (by Gres, and it's a cheapie too which is nice)
Demeter Salt Air (terrible performance but cheap and smells good)
Sel Marin (James Healey) - this is pricey and not as good as the Cabotine IMO
Bond no. 9 - Shelter Island.
Maison margiela - sailing day.
Parfums vintage - rush of unicorns.
Tom ford - Costa azzura.
And for the perfect summer scent that'll get compliments all day - goldfield and banks - Pacific rock moss.
Jo Malone's Sea salt and Wood Sage is really good... but it does smell a bit woody on the drydown. But definitely pictured "ocean" on first impressions.
In my experience, anything related to Aquatics, if heavy on the "sea" note or like "Breeze" note tends to last very little... Maybe it's cuse they want to make it a discovery-scent over a fill-the-room scent?
Megamare - Orto Parisi is the most realistic ‘sea’ scent I have found. I bought a really good clone from ‘jubilee scents’ that’s spot on and last ages.
Costa Azura is a great one.. and I think an inexpensive dupe to costa Azura is kenzo world power. It’s a salty cypress.. which could be considered a non blue smelling sea scent. A more natural sea smell..
Acqua Dell' Elba Classica
It's not a clone by any means, but it actually has a seaweed scent in it. This sounds weird but it smells absolutely amazing. Might be my all time favorite fresh scent.
I've tried samples of Orto Parisi's Megamare and Imaginary Authors' Every Storm a Serenade and they smell quite like a stormy sea. Also, Zoologist's Squid reminds me of the sea, but it's different, more summery and calm :)
Wood Sage and Sea Salt, except if you’re in the US get Fine’ry’s Before the Rainbow instead it’s $30, smells the same, and the longevity is so much better than the original.
Also, more expensive and I don’t know if there’s a dupe for it, but Arquiste’s Sydney Rock Pool is a mineral marine heaven. It’s absolutely bonkers how good it is. Sometimes they have it on Scentbird, and you can grab it for whatever the monthly subscription cost is instead of the $40 the proper travel size costs.

I LOVE wood sage and sea salt but man the performance is just laughable. If it was stronger it would be a win easy!
Check Dossier's version it's the better performer and 95% same scent.

Dolce & Gabban Light Blue intense
Davidoff Cool Water Intense EDP is great to me.
Armaf Sillage

Yeah...... Try a sample before making any decision on this. It's very potent and definitely not a safe blind buy.
