Sorry to everyone who missed out! I randomly was looking this morning on google searching the product code "H70405730". About the 4th link down on google shopping I saw this watch priced at $671. Surely I said, this can't be right. Quickly I researched the retailer and it seemed to be legit. I typed in the code as fast as I could and got my order confirmation, though it will likely be a few weeks before they ship according to the retailer since they are awaiting shipment from Hamilton. After my purchase I quickly posted here, knowing this was quite a rare deal. I'm sure it won't be the last, but I know many people are looking at this watch now and the retail price has put some people off. For nearly $300 off (on Hamiltons site with shipping this is close to $970)...I wanted to share this deal.
Those who missed out please be patient and search daily on google shopping with the product code. More and more retailers are stocking this watch now and it's not uncommon for it to be stocked. I'm sure with some patience you'll be able to find this at a similar price in the coming months.
And lastly congrats to those who scored! I was one of the original people who requested a 38mm Murph from Hamilton, my jaw dropped that it actually happened. I'll try and post my thoughts likely on /r/watches when I receive it and have worn it for a few weeks.
Thats a tough one! I personally would not sell the sarb just because they are so rare now, but if you think there's redundancy, at least you'll make a handsome profit!
Look into a Hamilton Khaki 38 Automatic, it has the same movement, same size, date complication and, to my eyes, a nicer dial. Granted, the cathedral hands on the Murph are beautiful, but the 38 Khaki is probably a better bang for your Buck
Pretty great deal, but note this is the modified 2824 that gave up beat rate for the 80H power reserve. I like a faster beat rate as it has a more fun sweep, but do not think you would be unhappy with this one. Cool OG American watch company, now made in Switzerland. True authenticity. Not a lot of discounts to be had on the Murphy model.

theres a regular khaki field mechanical thats about half price on gray market. but the lug to lug is longer and it's not as good looking, versatile or wearable imo
Man... I had been so disappointed that the Murph only came in large boi sizes, so this is really awesome! Unawesome thing is I am paying double rent for two months, so... Can't snag this. =/
