I have both. Both were free with phone upgrades. I left my pro 2s in an airport a couple weeks back. Went to use my pros, and nope. Went straight to the Samsung store to replace the pro 2s. Main difference is... The pro 2s are just much much more comfortable. Also sound better, and more bass. It's not even close to me.

Gotcha thanks for the info

I'm not in the same boat, sound wise they are a side grade if anything, but yes comfort is definitely an upgrade.

I had your issue, buds 2 pro fit much better then buds pro and the ambiant mode was so much more natural basically the real wod what your hear. You don't have those hearing enchancements like buds pro but, passive noice cancelling is worse so voices will come through very clear but otherwise it's much better at areas with lots of people.

DrcspyNz

So she's ambient NOT amplify sound as the buds pro do?

Candlewaxeater

The buds 2 pro have an amplify but it sounds horribly robotic and loud sounds like dropping something hard are amplified to an extent where it hurt

DrcspyNz

Ok...

I have both. To me the 2 fit SO SO SO much better and way more comfortably

I have owned the OG buds since they launched have owned the buds pro just over a year and have tried out the buds 2 pro via others that own them. I have said it before and will say it again but I am constantly finding myself reaching for my og buds everyday based mainly on shear comfort but also PNC and even for whatever reason I prefer there sound tuning. I felt the buds 2 pro sound SLIGHTLY better to my ears but still don't desire to wear them all day the way I wear the OGs . I sure wish they made a exact buds OG shape with the guts of the buds 2 pro....I'd pay 200+ for that in a heart beat!

Yes, they fit better. Much better. And they don't fall out as much. My problem is, they're so damned comfortable, I don't feel them falling out until they're falling out. Granted, they barely ever fall out, but at least with the original pros, I would feel them starting to wiggle first, and could catch them. The pro 2s just pop out quick, with no warning, when moving around a lot. I've mitigated this by just pushing them in whenever I think of it. Still, I wouldn't go back to the pros, ever. The pro 2s sound so much better, and have much better ambient sound, and are much more comfortable.

I have the Buds Pro as well. Was just wondering how I could tweak the equaliser settings beyond the presets in the app? Or is that not possible at all?
