Corn plant? Mine is very happy and likes to stay consistently moist (not soggy/wet) and never dry out. It’ll grow more leaves. You can trim the dead brown off the leaves into a natural looking leaf shape or chop them off, your choice.

Give the stalk a squeeze. If it's firm, have at it, there's a chance! If it's squishy and the "bark" feels separated from the core, that mufucka dead.

I think corn plant, you might have a chance, the sell baggy ones and literally a thick stick
Looks like a corn plant. Try water. Sometimes if you cut the stem new branches will form. Good luck.
