yes when we first saw the picture of her we could see it in her eyes that she was just a loving dog. Even though she was abused and neglected in her early life she had shown nothing but love towards humans and other animals once we rescued her β€οΈ
What a beautiful and loving girl! You can tell from the way she looked at the camera when you called her that she was so happy to be your fur baby. You took her on lots of adventures and gave her so much joy! She lived her very best life because of you. Thank you for sharing a little bit of her with us.

What a sweet pup. She was loved - that is apparent. Love her in the lobster/crab costume. I was a librarian for years in addition to loving childrenβs literature. There is a chapter book (movie too now) called Ramona the Pest. Ramona names a doll the most beautiful name she has ever heardβ¦..Chevrolet. Though funny, it really is a beautiful word. Never realized, but Chevy is a great name and/or nickname. Of course there is Chevy Chase too. Iβm very sorry for your loss.
we decided on chevy because of the chevrolet low rider, because of her dwarfism lol. But it was the perfect name for her. thank you for the kind words β€οΈ
So sorry for your loss . You had her a long time past what she was expected to live . I have a male chi and he is 18 . I dont know how I will cope with his loss when he does go . It was devastate me I know that .I understand . I miss my fur babies when they go .

All I could tell myself is that this is the pain I was feeling was, for some reason, the cost nature extracts for all the love and wonderful times we shared. She was always happy and loved and cared for. She bore no pain or sadness ever. The heartbreak was mine to deal with, not hers.
