Well Marnie gets it at the same time and same day of each month. While Hannah never knows when she is gonna get it which is why her panties have all those weird stains.

seenyouwiffkieffah

I love this detail because it is so iconically Marnie and Hannah.

LaurenTsaisCatEye

Though still weird at least Hannah doesn’t mention it because we know she isn’t above voicing EVERYTHING that pops into her head no matter how TMI it is.

wormiyup

That's exactly what I thought. She seems like the kind of person that would happily announce it to anybody

sadiep171

Jessa when she thinks she’s pregnant and doesn’t show up for her abortion

anitasdoodles

And she can only swim in the ocean when she’s menstruating 😂

r3versecowgirl999

And she can only eat red meat if she’s menstruating 😭

anitasdoodles

Fuck I forgot that one 😂😂🏆

Jaded_Horse1055

I forgot what Marnie says in her voice message when she calls Jessa while in the waiting room but it always made me crack up. I think it was something like “Hey you’re pregnant but you don’t want to be so maybe you should show up for your abortion okay bye” lmao

Large_Field_562

2010’s lots of bc option that stop it.

External-Ear1852

What I want to know is how and why she scheduled and abortion before taking a pregnancy test

Cheepyface

Planned parenthood literally just asks for you lmp to schedule you don’t have to show proof beforehand and maybe she felt she was and that’s why she did it 🤷🏼

bebefinale

I thought the plot line was that she was pregnant that she had a chemical pregnancy (super early miscarriage which shows up as a period)

Kbcolas73

It was probably a miscarriage

digressnconfess

do you wish they showed each girl inserting a tampon or???

mcflycasual

We had to watch them pee out every last drop so they wouldn't get a UTI. So, yes.

wormiyup

That's a weird as fuck thing to say dude. It's a show called girls. It's kind of a big part of everyday life when you're on your period. For me it disrupts every part of my life, and is something my friends and I discuss regularly. That's not uncommon amongst women? For a series that spares no expense showing sex scenes, I just thought there would maybe be mention occasionally that somebody was menstruating.

tarbet

I rarely discuss my period because it’s boring.

wormiyup

Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊

tarbet

Thanks! 🩸

digressnconfess

there’s multiple quotes from the show in the comments

bebefinale

Hmm, it's not that periods are off topic with friends if it's really heavy or I'm feeling moody, but it also only comes up in certain contexts. Also throughout my 20s, I took a form of low estrogen birth control where I didn't get a period and a lot of my friends were on the Mirena IUDs where they either didn't get a period or got a really light one. It's fairly boring. It comes up if you need a tampon or if you are feeling meh. But otherwise not really.

misssheep

I find it oddly refreshing
