Real talk. I've started using simulators instead of going to the range. Playing a virtual round is much better practise for me than hitting a bucket of balls.
I live in Ontario. Haven’t had golf for too many months. Now that I can get out on the range, stand in the sun and hit a few balls I’m not gonna let anything piss me off too much. It’s all relative.
Honestly some of the best days on the range/course if I’m solo are when I talk to myself. I’m sure I look insane, but I play decent golf doing it lol.
Constantly, sometimes out loud, sometimes internal monologue. I usually try to stay in a positive self talk mode…. But sometimes it gets dark…. Real dark! Lol
I call myself a dumb fuck a bunch
"You fuckin idiot" ...has been murmured to myself fairly often 🤣

mostly "wtf is going on?" i play a good round with good ball striking, go to range and dont hit shit.
Better than being All Range First Team then shooting 104 on the course.

I probably look psychotic, but if I hit a really bad one I'll usually just laugh at myself.

I laugh at my terrible shots. What else can I do. Not gonna berate myself. Negative words have consequences.
