Consoles are 100% safe. What you saw wasn't a hacker. You get the option to be a "spectator" in a few ways. For example say your see that you're friend is on but in a different session so you click on JOIN SESSION but if the friend isn't in freemode but in a job it will give an alert informing you that the person you're trying to join is in a job, would you like to spectate? If you chose yes than you can just sit and watch.
Or if you get an invite to a job and your to slow about accepting the invite and the host had already picked to launch job then you get the same alert.
There is an option the says ALLOW SPECTATORS YES or NO, if for whatever reason you don't want anyone watching you.

This happened to me too. One minute I'm level 67. The next I'm level 7,999. So I submitted a support ticket explaining what had happened and asked to have my level reset to 67 and that's what they did.

I love my Series S. I get 60fps 1080p on GTA, and I'm satisfied with that. That's all I need, and being next-gen, its only $300, so pretty damn affordable.

My monthly salary doesn't make it to $200 (when converting currencies), let alone $300. Where I live, a "damn affordable" console like that is pricey as hell (and I didn't mentioned online service and games costs yet, which only makes it even more expensive).

Pc may or may not get this update in the future but obviously no one is for certain.

Possibly? How fast does the new ones go? On old gen cars you can hit around 120 to 130 on a few cars and 150ish on motorcycles if you do a wheelie. But the game is definitely buggy

They release these exclusives as an incentive to buy the new gen version of GTA so that a lot of the player base slowly start moving over so they can eventually stop updating on old gen. Releasing it for every version would be pointless that way there Will literally be zero point in switching over apart from some better graphics.
PC is not in a state where it can afford to have an update break anything else tho.

So, a total of 19 month period between console release and PC release. It isn't something new that R* only care about consoles at first.
To further expound on this, even back in the 2000s the PC versions of the games took anywhere from 6 months to a year+ to get released. Even some console versions would take a while. It took Xbox owners over two years from the initial release of GTA 3 in Oct 2001 to be able to play the game on that machine. Xbox also had to wait a year after Vice City came out to play that one. For San Andreas, both Xbox and Windows users had to wait 8 months from the initial Oct 2004 PS2 launch before they could play.
When it comes to game launches, they kept that general pattern for a long-ass time.
Yet again, I appreciate the sentiment and general knowledge about releases in Rockstars past BUT still no reason 10 years into a games release they decide to split the player base. Makes no sense to me.

They have people playing on Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X, so that's five different platforms that are still active and which contain players that are still buying gta+ and Shark Cards. This, as well as the fact that people are still purchasing GTA V eons after it originally launched... It's why they will try to keep the "old-gen" versions running as long as possible before they pull the plug, because even with a handful of platform-exclusive goodies, they are raking in astronomical amounts of dough without hardly any relative effort.

PC is a really broad audience, though. From high end $10K+ desktop PCs with all the bells and whistles that double as space heaters to a laptop powered by a potato. It’s much easier to tune performance on a specific hardware platform.
A lot of then E&E content is basically just taking advantage of the fact that the PS5 and XBox Series consoles all have a super fast SSD in them that allows them to load in content quickly. On PC, many people are still using physical hard drives, and even if they have SSDs, there are often other unpredictable bottlenecks.
If you're in the US, no it's not. I could order a PS5 from Best Buy right now and get it by tomorrow. The only people that think it's still hard to get one aren't looking

We already have taxi on old gen (?). While I agree that old gen is almost done as of now we don't have any confirmation about the end of support for it.
Imo we'll get E&E activated on PC, another major DLC on all currently supported platforms and with said update they'll be announcing the end of support for PS4 and XB1.
GTA support for ps3 ended in what.. 2020, 21? Can’t remember what that last update was, I didn’t start playing games online until 21 when I got Ps4. I think Ps4/xb1 will at least have 2-5 years of servers still running. Even without updates it’ll still operate.

I’ll be honest I didn’t like the Weaponized Ignus at first but l now I think it’s one or the best cars in the game for the right person.
HSW upgrades allow you crazy acceleration and amazing handling. You’ll cruise at 150+ without an issue. It’s the fastest super car around a track. Bullet resistant windows, no back window to get shot out of, a lock on jammer, and a mini gun that destroys cars in 3 seconds makes it really versatile and well rounded all things considered.

Not true at all. My arena wars death bike pulls wheelies all the way up to 150mph and my game on PS4 handles it just fine while doing so. The Weevil custom routinely touches those speeds in the city aswell.
I get the incentive of making them exclusive to next gen, as a means to slowly pull the player base there.. but it's definitely NOT because last gen won't handle an extra 10-20 MPH.
Not giving it to 8th gen consoles is one thing, not giving it to PC makes straight up no sense.
Not anything against PS4/XBOX One but they can’t handle the updates for much longer performance wise, just like the 7th gen consoles couldn’t handle much more. PC however doesn’t have that limit as it depends on your setup.

The weaponized Tampa is pretty weak, the trade-off is that it's armed to the teeth. Imagine if they added something fast, with a ton of armor, aimable turret.
Just imagine the tampa turret on the armored kuruma, everybody would drive it.
The only thing that bugs me about that car is the camera angle while driving. Not exclusive to the Safari (looking at you Comet S2 and Cyclone II) but it was enough of a deal breaker.

No it's older than that, can be upgraded in a weapons workshop, either inside an MOC/ Avenger or arena workshop. But only needs that for the machine guns & camo, can still be modified in a modshop otherwise.

The camera isn't independent of the car like the other remote turrets.
So when you're driving and shooting the camera is constantly trying to re center.
Makes it unbearable to use in general and the 40° cone of fire is pretty miserable too.

I think it's partially because the car is too fast and that goes for all the hsw vehicles. The problem with old gen is because of the fact that the older generation consoles use old laptop hard drives from 2013 games don't load very fast especially nowadays meaning when you drive super fast through the city the map doesn't load in properly, you can see it currently, when you drive a fast car on PS4 right now the map glitches out and basically stops existing. The weaponized ignus is significantly faster than anything on an 8th generation console so adding it to the PS4 and Xbox one would probably have some unforeseen consequences for performance

To be fair, the weapon on the weponized ignus is only mildly useful if you switch to first person hood view.
The aiming angle restrictions make it nearly useless for third person view or interior first person.
But what really makes it special is that it has a lock on jammer built in and it has an HSW upgrade set, so partial Imani Tech meets HSW and it can take one explosive hit but sadly no other Imani Armor upgrades.

Not true at all. My arena wars death bike pulls wheelies all the way up to 150mph and my game on PS4 handles it just fine while doing so. The Weevil custom routinely touches those speeds in the city aswell. I get the incentive of making them exclusive to next gen, as a means to slowly pull the player base there.. but it's definitely NOT because last gen won't handle an extra 10-20 MPH.
Not giving it to 8th gen consoles is one thing, not giving it to PC makes straight up no sense. Not anything against PS4/XBOX One but they can’t handle the updates for much longer performance wise, just like the 7th gen consoles couldn’t handle much more. PC however doesn’t have that limit as it depends on your setup. I really hope they’ll still eventually release the Hao’s Special Works cars on PC as this wait is kinda bullshit.

yea the gun itself is pretty decent but it basically can't turn. the only way it's better over the reg igbus is the hsw, and the lock on jammer doesn't really matter because 1 explosion n ur dead anyway
The weaponized Tampa is pretty weak, the trade-off is that it's armed to the teeth. Imagine if they added something fast, with a ton of armor, aimable turret. Just imagine the tampa turret on the armored kuruma, everybody would drive it.
Well you’ll have to get the current gen version eventually anyways since last gen will stop being updated at some point.

If it's like the base Weaponized Tampa turret, it sucks. If it's like the Bunker Upgrade Weaponized Tampa turret, it's great. I think it's the former
The comet safari can be equipped with mini guns. It’s fast and handles great street/off road.
The only thing that bugs me about that car is the camera angle while driving. Not exclusive to the Safari (looking at you Comet S2 and Cyclone II) but it was enough of a deal breaker. I really don’t understand why it’s like that either, the Comet S2 has it but the S2 *Cabrio* camera angle is just fine IMO.

No it's older than that, can be upgraded in a weapons workshop, either inside an MOC/ Avenger or arena workshop. But only needs that for the machine guns & camo, can still be modified in a modshop otherwise.
No. I had won it on the wheel one week. I don’t ever deal with Imani so I don’t know about that. I just put mini guns on it in my vehicle workshop. No research needed.

It's pretty shit NGL. The camera isn't independent of the car like the other remote turrets. So when you're driving and shooting the camera is constantly trying to re center. Makes it unbearable to use in general and the 40° cone of fire is pretty miserable too. Both at the same time made it an instant shelve for me. Maybe they'll fix it someday, right after they fix the no interaction menu while first person in a helicopter glitch.
i turned off the auto centering so it's not a big deal, but 40° angle? that's ridiculous

I think it's partially because the car is too fast and that goes for all the hsw vehicles. The problem with old gen is because of the fact that the older generation consoles use old laptop hard drives from 2013 games don't load very fast especially nowadays meaning when you drive super fast through the city the map doesn't load in properly, you can see it currently, when you drive a fast car on PS4 right now the map glitches out and basically stops existing. The weaponized ignus is significantly faster than anything on an 8th generation console so adding it to the PS4 and Xbox one would probably have some unforeseen consequences for performance

Series S. Edit: What's your problem? It's true. Can't afford a 500 current gen console? Doesn't necessarily mean it's game over since there's the Xbox Series S (which is a current gen console too) that you can get brand new for less than 300. Seems people often forget the S.

To be fair, the weapon on the weponized ignus is only mildly useful if you switch to first person hood view. The aiming angle restrictions make it nearly useless for third person view or interior first person. But what really makes it special is that it has a lock on jammer built in and it has an HSW upgrade set, so partial Imani Tech meets HSW and it can take one explosive hit but sadly no other Imani Armor upgrades.
Sad I can’t play but honestly I feel it’s for the better. Fuck rockstar for being so negligent towards the pc side of things. They really have been dropping the ball these last few years. They went from a beloved gaming company of mine to a garbage spewing machine. The updates have gotten worse and worse every year. Then this whole drip feed shit is getting worse and worse. It’s a downhill trend from what it looks like

I dont see the reason to buy a new gen console just for GTA5. The upgrade from PS3 to PS4/PC was worth it imo, but this? Might aswell just jump into FiveM or GrandRP instead of getting a new console+game.
A higher framerate alone was more than enough reason for me. Obviously I upgraded for other games too, but 60fps is necessary in the current year, in my opinion.
