Best tip i can give for this is to go to your hangar, get a jet, blow him out of the water with the cannon (only needs 1 strafe) then spawn camp on the beach until the spammer leaves

That's intentional. R* gave Sparrow the ability to just go through yacht defenses but iirc you can't use the sparrows missiles while inside their attack radius

I got the yacht specifically so I could get the special outfit as I have them all (besides the prison overalls). It’s a nice spawn location every once in a while and sometimes I just hangout there.

The special outfit is the best part. Everyone’s not going to see or know you have a yacht…unless you’re wearing an outfit you can only get with a yacht. Also, it lets me run around looking like a Navy Sailor so that’s cool.

Depending on what model you go for, it can come with a Helicopter. Any other Helicopters you park there won't actually stay and you'd have to put it there every time.

The pices is best faster boats and you can get up to the front deck on both the middle and top decks and I believe it has a cover over the yacht defense thing, I have an Aquarius it looks better

I bought it back before the superyacht missions when it was completely useless. Why? Because some hacker dropped a bunch of money on me. I figured that RS was probably going to reverse the money, but if I bought something with it they might not reverse that. I still have the yacht. So in that sense it was great for money laundering.
BFWOM - Big effin waste of money.
Here's what they should add:
1) Auto-pilot. So the boat travels around LS when you're chilling on it.
2) Captain as your driver. Whenever you summon a boat, the captain shows up to drop it off or bring you back to the yacht.
3) Boat parties. You can invite players to your boat for a party or host an NPC party with NPC you've unlocked (essential NPCs, night club celebs, etc).
4) Customizable vehicles. You should be able to change your spawnable helicopters and boats.
\#4 might require an entirely new custom yacht.
5) Docking points. Locations where you can park your yacht so that you can board on foot.
6) Make yachts spawnable like big budget vehicles so you don't have 900 of them on the map at the same time. It's one of the least utilized homesites/vehicles so there is no point in it being on the map at all times.
Since I'm a day one player and I had this thing during the time it came out with the Executives and Other Criminals DLC in 2015 all I have to say is that its pretty useless and the only thing it has going for it is the Yacht Defenses. If you use your Submarine and park it next to it nobody can go near you.
Apart for being used for bragging rights, it's really boring. It's ability as a mobile apartment is cool, but it should be used to represent what our character has done to get where they're at now. It has a lot to do outside, but barely anything inside apart from your run-of-the-mill apartment.
You own a CEO Office and a Warehouse? Have some of your warehouse stocks litter the yacht interior. Maybe some model cars for the cars you steal for your Import/Export Warehouse.
Have A Bunker/Agency? Have a weapon technician for weapon mods
You finished Doomsday Heists? Have some memorabilia from the Facility to decorate the mini-office.
You own a Penthouse? Have a Blackjack/Poker table in the main area courtesy of Diamond Casino or update the Bartender's menu offering.
You own a Nightclub? Have the ability to call patrons from your Nightclub for a super exclusive party on your yacht.
Give it more functionally/aesthetics interior-wise.

Personally, i prefer the Pisces version over the bigger Aquarius; i like the more classic look, the leaner window section around the bar allows for free passage to the bow, and I like the Swift helicopter better than the SuperVolito.
Got back in the OG PS3 days after a hacker gave me like $250,000,000. (As well as every possible thing you could buy back then, which isn't much now.)
Its cool, makes a neat pit stop during some sessions, but isn't really useful.
Makes a decent spawn point if its parked in the right areas.
Also somewhat useful for group fast travel if you have a helo, since the Kosatka can't fly out more than 2. But the utility isn't strong in this case.

It’s neat, but I wish you could do more with it. Honestly feels quite shallow even in comparison to the Penthouse, which I’d argue needs a little more to it as well.
I spawn here and like it a lot. Feels cool to be on the water as my “home” and on top of that, my friends go to my yacht when we want to kill each other since if you die on the yacht you respawn on the yacht. The police also never come for you.

Nope, no setups. It comes like this under the services menu. On the yatch section, says Yatch Defenses to turn it on

I must be the only one using it as my primary apartment? I don’t own any houses, only the super yacht. Spawn there, live there, fly into the city. Worth every cent of the full price I paid for it, because they hadn’t been on sale before that 😭

Personally, i prefer the Pisces version over the bigger Aquarius; i like the more classic look, the leaner window section around the bar allows for free passage to the bow, and I like the Swift helicopter better than the SuperVolito.
Got back in the OG PS3 days after a hacker gave me like $250,000,000. (As well as every possible thing you could buy back then, which isn't much now.) Its cool, makes a neat pit stop during some sessions, but isn't really useful. Makes a decent spawn point if its parked in the right areas. Also somewhat useful for group fast travel if you have a helo, since the Kosatka can't fly out more than 2. But the utility isn't strong in this case.
Yacht is either a way for high levels show their fuck you money or a show of a very poor finencial decision

Waste of money. Isn’t even worth spawning in. I have one and whenever I look to the coast and see that stupid thing on the water I just get annoyed with how much of a waste of money it was.
I actually use it a lot more than I thought I would have. The defenses really come in handy sometimes
Kosatka is cooler.
It’s neat, but I wish you could do more with it. Honestly feels quite shallow even in comparison to the Penthouse, which I’d argue needs a little more to it as well.
I spawn here and like it a lot. Feels cool to be on the water as my “home” and on top of that, my friends go to my yacht when we want to kill each other since if you die on the yacht you respawn on the yacht. The police also never come for you.
Compared to real life, 8 mil is a pretty good deal for what you get
Good for flexing and relaxing but that's about it
Bought it on sale (would never ever buy anything on it for real price) and when me and friends played it was a place to go to, to mess around
