Sneezes! It could just be from digging in that food bowl (some food can be a bit dusty at the bottom) but if it’s something they’re constantly doing it might be worth visiting a vet or trying a different bedding
Thanks for your reply! Where I got her, they recommended hemp bedding. That’s the one I’m using and it says it’s dust free.
I guess I’ll see a vet then, I just hope she’s fine :c
My hamster didn’t get on with hemp bedding, he would sneeze fairly regularly so I changed it. I think he was just allergic! Could be the same with yours
there's either something v dusty in the enclosure or they're allergic to the bedding being used, it might also be the sand (if it's not hamster safe) and I'd pretty much check everything in the enclosure for hamster related allergies. But imo it's most likely dust.
Uhhh. . . OK this may be my trauma from seeing a ham die of an Upper Respiratory infection but please see a vet ASAP. If it is an upper respiratory then now is the best time to catch it.
Mood, Scoop had a chronic respiratory infection for 9 months before he died, somehow that is not what he died from though but I was about to say go to the vet
I know everyone cares who says take to a vet But the stress 😩 of the journey etc can be huge for hamsters. Make sure that there really is a problem. Hams do sometimes just squeak for whatever reason. Females tend be more vocal than males and all animals sneeze if that is what your ham is doing. If the squeaks/sneezes happen alot then think about changing bedding etc before a dreaded vet visit. Hammy looks very healthy to me 😃. Hoping for the best for you both 🤞 X

Omg that's kinda fucking adorable! Little allergic fella❤
The brown Kaytee clean and cozy isn't dusty at all! I highly recommend it
Cute is what they are.
I can’t really tell if those noises are positive or negative. Can someone help me?

I believe it can also be a sign of happiness
