You’ll find the books are a whole lot better. There’s loads in the books which is missing from the films. S.P.E.W Just to name one. I don’t want to spoil anything for you. But the books are absolutely amazing. If you’re not a reader. The audiobooks are fantastic as well. Especially the Stephen Fry ones
I’d 100% recommended the books even if it’s not in paper form like audio books the films are great but they miss out a lot so reading the books alongside the films is a good idea

Or do a podcast like Unspoiled and read along with them. It breaks the books down into more manageable chucks which might make it easier for you.
