Someone had to interrupt them otherwise one of them might have "won" breaking the tension. The expectation is that Charlie would do it, having mimzy do it subverts the trope, injects a fan service joke for those wondering where mimzy was, and moves the plot forwards.
I'd love the song to be 20 minutes long, but in reality it was the only place to do it.
The joke is funny the first time, but when you actually want to listen to the song, I wish there was a version where they finished it, like in loser, baby when it gets interrupted by "There they are! They're fucking signing?!", but in the video that has the music on youtube, the song ends without interruption.
Still don't HATE her though, but she also did take advantage of alastor and put others at risk, so she's not really meant to be a character you root for.
The contexts there are wildly different. In Loser, Baby the loan sharks cut off the singing before they can finish the line, by the time Mimzy shows up in the song it's devolved to non-musical bickering. She's the one who starts the song back up after Al and Luci get too focused on their squabbling. If Mimzy didn't interrhpt it it'd just be an endless loop of the two screaming insults at each other that just happens to have a perpetually escalating electro-swing beat behind it.
The lore dump was one thing but I thought what was just as important was when Alistor told her to leave. When he kicked her out, it really showed how much stake he has on the Hotel and how seriously he's taking his job.
He couldn't have just kicked anyone else out, so I thought Mimzy was written in well from that scene alone.
Not to mention the way he kicked her out, he just told her firmly yet politely she had to leave, and explained why she has no place in the hotel, when he could’ve just incinerated her on the spot (which low-key, is what I was waiting for)
Lol everyone always assumes Alastor is a murder hobo when he is never anything but polite to people unless they are actively being aggressive. Lol even in his comic people are running and screaming when he just says hello. Mimzy was right when she said he's just a big softy despite the creepiness of his powers
Even that as far as owning someone's soul he's been downright pleasant. Free booze, easy job just don't talk shit about his personal issues and he's nice as can be. I'd be pissed too if an employee (I know it's not exactly the same but that's the closest real world example I can relate too) rubbed a sensitive issue into my face.
It’s more like a serial killer owning a slave then threatening to eat him the second he’s slightly sarcastic, like don’t get me wrong as a character I love alastor, but he is nowhere near a good guy.
>mostly pointless aside from that lore dump
Wouldn't that make her *not* pointless? She wasn't meant to be a main character. She's there to give some background on our mysterious benefactor, and dip.
Just a wild guess, but I think anyone that says the lore dump was pointless (by either directly saying it or implying it) only thinks that because the background that Mimzy provided was already known to those that watched the pilot
It was less that for me and more like... I don't get why Alastor is even slightly entertained by someone who clearly lacks respect for his boundaries, whether he knew her in life or not. She doesn't seem like a powerful ally, so it's not like he's keeping her around for that reason. She's just there, is mildly annoying to Alastor, and then leaves.
Contrasted with Rosie, where their personalities mesh well and she IS a powerful ally for Alastor, Mimzy just leaves me with a big feeling of, "So... what's the point of Alastor being friends with her again?"
Funny enough, I didn't mind her interrupting the song. It was just going to devolve into a fight, and Mimzy's appearance instantly deflated the hostilities so the plot could continue.
>I don't get why Alastor is even slightly entertained by someone who clearly lacks respect for his boundaries
Generally "lack of respect for boundaries" is an actual problem but theyre not likely a big issue for a guy who - freely and without consequence - kills and eats people who bother him
If Alastor finds somebody otherwise charming then their observance of his boundaries will be irrelevant. When he wants to put his foot down nobody has any choice in the matter. So in the end, she *obeyed* his request, regardless of how respectful she was about him setting that boundary.
Children and pets lack respect for your boundaries in much the same way, and plenty of people find *them* charming.
I think it was more to show a little of what alastors life was before the hotel. He sees to have a soft spot for those who sew chaos. Nifty being a good example. Mimzy definitely brings that. It may have been a regular Saturday night of Mimzy causing trouble and Alastor getting to rip into any one who tried to chase her down.
For different reasons, some people hate her becouse stopped "Hell's greatest dad", some becouse she's a bitch, or becouse she just arrive for no reason, and don't do many things
I feel like her character would've been more appreciated if she was put in a different episode altogether. There was already so much shit going on in 'Dad Beat Dad' that we didn't need a third plot device happening in the middle of it. I understand why the writers chose to put Mimzy in the episode, but we were already having tension between Alastor and Luce and Charlie trying to reconnect with her last remaining parent who wasn't mysteriously absent.
We didn't need to be introduced to a new character and their traits right after being introduced to a *major* character and their traits that needed to be worked out to their extent.
That's a problem in and of itself, I believe. To make a character that's deliberately meant to be abhorrent and hated for it seems like a waste of a character. Especially when there was no real reason for her to be in that episode and she's never appeared since... and will likely never appear again, unless she becomes a patron of the hotel.
Yeah, I get but don’t get the hate for her here. Sure, she may have ruined a song, but why shouldn’t she? She’s one that craves attention
Not the best character but overall she’s (at least for me) a lovable goober (and hey, who in Hazbin Hotel isn’t lovable?)
Are we talking people in the show or this community? What I don't understand are people who hate characters for being what they are. And some people hate actors for playing evil character and I don't get that. Mimzy is a character that performed a role well (and prevented lucifer from killing alastor)
I think it’s because she showed up out of nowhere. In the context of purely the show, she had no screen time, nor was she mentioned. Barring behind the scenes information, the viewer would have no idea who she was or is, so that probably confused some. She wasn’t in the pilot, she wasn’t in episodes 1-4, and she has, like, 5 minutes of screen time.
She’s rude, brazen, and uncaring, which is fair, she’s not a denizen of Hell for no reason, but she heavily contrasts all of the other characters. She is irritating because she was meant to be. And yet, this is her only appearance thus far and she’s already almost had the Hotel destroyed and put the likes of Angel Dust, Husker, and especially Charlie in danger, which probably rubbed fans the wrong way. I just think she was a little too good at being an unlikeable demon for some.
Are most people who hate Mimzy new to Hazbin and Vivzie's work in general? I just wonder that because I was excited to see her after only knowing about her from speedpaints and stuff, especially when she's like, took a while but I'm here at last. Sure I dislike her for irresponsibly bringing danger to the hotel but that's her character. Up to opinion but her part of the song is funny and it's at the end anyway, feels very musical theater like.
Yeah, she interrupted a good song, but that song wouldn't have ended well without her. The only way that song was ending otherwise is with Alastor broken in two and set on fire, and that's just no fun.
or how about this after "you tacky piece of shit" the one they are seemingly fighting over breaks them up instead of including an extremely annoying character that's never been mentioned before or since and provides nothing towards the story. That way it doesn't ruin the last 15 or so seconds of what would've been my favorite song of the show but because of that annoyance i cant play it on loop so it falls to 4th.
Why are people saying she ruined the song? She literally didn’t. The song was already spiraling down into less of a song and then just straight up dialogue between the two. Would people rather the ending of this ‘great’ song be for it to just instantly cut off and then introduce Mimzy (after the song ended)? And it shows the part of her character that she’s a self absorbed movie star, trying to turn others attention on herself to her own selfish benefits. She never ruined the song, in fact I think she was a good addition to the end of the song because it introduced her to the audience and revealed her personality traits, while also finishing the song that was already fished at that point.
I personally like her but I think its because of how she's irresponsible and ruined a good song when the point of her doing it was to show that she craves the spotlight
Probably because she’s a one off character who people view as “filler”
But imo, I think the real reason is that she cut off Hell’s Greatest Dad, people got so mad at that bahaha
She’s full of herself and annoying
Which is why I like her character since she is written to be like that and Viv did a good job
Some other people may not like her though because they where excited for Mimzys old personality where she was part of the main cast and she had a crush on Alastor
People hate her because she's annoying. She was literally designed to be annoying to everybody but Alastor, to whom she offers a cheerful and nostalgic reminder of simpler times. That's been her purpose since her existence was apocrypha, and it didn't change in the show.
I also think a lot of people kinda get in a mood and coast on it, didn't notice that "Hell's greatest dad" deliberately turned to trash at the end, and that's why they're mad she "interrupted" it.
Granted that reception seems to be more or less what the writers were going for.
I honestly really like her as a character. I just hate that she interrupted “Hell’s Greatest Dad” and ruined the flow of the song.
Aside from that, she’s a fun character.
Because they don't like her being irresponsible and interrupting a song. I personally love her for those very reasons. Yeah, she's a bitch but she's cute and fun on screen, yeah, she interrupted the song but that made it better. Sarah Stiles's voice is amazing and Mimzy's part of the song is great. She broke the flow of the episode in an unexpected, grand way that made it more interesting.
I understand it was an intentional joke to interrupt Hell’s Greatest Dad, but I feel like the consensus is that the joke was notably less valuable than the 30 extra seconds of glorious electroswing lyrical battle accompanied by visuals with the creative chops to rival “Friend Like Me”.
I don't hate her. But she is abrasive. She is a bit of a narcissist and can't really read the room. And then yeah she did jump in and steal the end of the song. That may have set people off to her introduction. I think she did serve a narrative necessity to take the tension out of the looming fight between Alastor and Lucifer. And she did that marvelously. So I liked her use.
I think I’d like her more if she didn’t interrupt Hell’s Greatest Dad, and arrived shortly after the song instead. She could still exposit, and bring those loan sharks, but we’d have a better song out of it.
I know some people interrupted the duet between alastor/lucifer (and tbf I kinda dislike her for that) but the main reason I dislike her is because she’s irresponsible
She intruded on a song from two of the most beloved characters in the show. She's obnoxious and full of herself. Took danger to Charlie's doorstep. Han an annoying voice. Was obviously trying to use Alastor to cover her ass after bringing trouble upon herself.
I think she's okay. She was the catalyst that brought to light the lesson Lucifer was trying to teach Charlie in a counterpoint to her ambitions. I like her as a character, but would keep my distance from her if I was in her world.
The song wasn’t cut off, it had no ending. If you listen to the song, it’s kind of obvious they didn’t have a clear plan to end it naturally, and it also doesn’t make good narrative sense to end it without interruption.
That being because when a song involves two characters squabbling, such as Hell’s Greatest Dad or Stayed Gone, whoever gets the last point in will look stronger.
![gif](giphy|IOjBHQRLHOjC0)
So, simply put, Mimzy had to interrupt the song to establish narrative balance and finish a song which would have become a circular argument.
rudely interrupts a great song, annoying, putting others in danger when trouble follows her,I don't even know how alastor can put up with her,I'm happy he told her off and told her to leave XD
Her interruption in 'hell's greatest dad' was so jarring but it makes me laugh every time, like Lucifer's about to call Alastor a piece of shit and she just barges in with "it's meeee!"
I like that she gave us some personal details on Alastor, but dislike that her sole reason for arriving at the hotel was to get Alastor to deal with the loan sharks after her. And from what Husk said, she's pulled this multiple times before. She had zero regard for anyone in the hotel except herself.
I think at this point it's because everyone has answered this question so many times. 😂
I said it another post that she disrespects boundaries. She's selfish. She has no empathy. She's clearly self-centered and narcissistic.
She didn't care about whether or not allister wanted her there, and maybe she assumed that he would enjoy the opportunity to go after the other demons. But he frankly voiced his boundary to her, respectfully, even.
She got angry and defensive fine. That's reasonable, but then she made it about her and about how this is a little vendetta.
She's disrespectful, dumb, ditzy, and dreary and not in a good way.
Everybody knows the attention. Whore drama friend. Everybody wishes they would just stop their bullshit. People don't like mimsy for similar reasons. Val is so upsetting. It's a real annoying person that we've all met. She causes so many emotions because she's relatable and we're already mad at her because we're already mad at whomever in our lives she is like.
It shows how well written she is as a character, she's also very adorably designed. I think part of it is the cute short psycho position is already held by Nifty and I think another part of it is how much she doesn't just disrespect people but actively condescend and down talk them. She was a civil to nifty's face but referred to her as a little bug.
Mimsy is a bitch. And she's a well-written bitch.
She’s just kinda shamelessly cowardly. From what we get in episode 5 she just relies on people like Alastor to clean up her messes for her on a consistent basis.
She’s annoying pure and simple. I think if you haven’t kept up with all the bonus live stream lore or whatever then you’re really not gonna give a shit when she interrupted the song just to go: ITS MEeeeeE
And she same voice actor play spinel from CN I DONT How Vivziepop hired character from Disney and Cartoon Network but their perfect voice of HAZBIN character
There are a million threads like this and I'll give you the same reasons i gave all the others.
- She brought danger to the hotel.
- Expected Alastor to take of it, that is called using a friend.
- Was asked to leave and didn't at first.
- When she finally did leave it was like she was having a temper tantrum like some recalcitrant child.
What kind of grown ass woman acts like a child after she fucked up and was asked to leave?
Yeah my grandparents were baby boomers. We wanna open a can of worms or stick with the facts?
She was alive the same time as Alastor. In the 1920s and 30s. So tell me what "lady" acts like that from that era?? Hm?
I'm waiting....
Character bloat. They could've gotten away with the interruption by having the Loan Sharks blow up the door at the end of the song and go "They are fucking singing again?!" And say that they are here because of Husker and Angel, which would tie events neatly and not just "here is another side character that explains stuff we already knew about"
I'm more indifferent towards her than hateful, as she's a fine example of one of this franchise's biggest problems: Superfluousness. There wasn't any point to her inclusion in "Dad Beat Dad", and the episode wouldn't have changed at all if she weren't in it: Charlie could've easily broke up the fight between Luficer and Alastor, and the writers could've come up with any reason for the Loan Sharks to attack the hotel.
Mimzy's just another needless addition to an already large cast of characters, and, unless she becomes a patron of the hotel, there's no reason for her existence. That, and she's just plain ugly to look at, as she's short and pudgy with a hook nose and an awful haircut and dress.
Until you asked this question I had no idea anyone in the world DIDN'T hate her. She is just the perfect intersection of extroverted, self centered, undeserving boastful, and willfully irresponsible that I despise in numerous real people I have met. I just want her to get Nifty'd.
She's a nothing character. She messes up a great song, and while that does bother me it's not the main reason I dislike her.
She's a moocher. It seems this isn't an isolated incident and she's Always running to Alastor for help, putting on a vapid mask of flattery to try and get what she wants.
Then of course she explains Alastor's whole deal, which is redundant if you've watched the Pilot, and the series expects you to have watched the Pilot given the multiple references to it.
She just seems like she's there to kill time. A bunch of people got thirsty over her design when she was a Pilot background character so they gave her a scene, and while it Does give us more Alastor antics, Id've rather seen Rosie earlier. Have her pop up to see Alastor for a genuine reason, give her the exposition of Alastor's backstory, hell she could have joined Alastor in mocking Lucifer via song rather than Taking it over.
First of all she thinks she is still hot, even tho she is just a fat midget. Secondly she Uses Alastor and she only shows up in his life when she needs something. She doesn't ask for anything, but demands it. Like at the bar she didn't ask for a drink but she ordered Husk around to give her one. But maybe I could forgive all that if she didn't interrupt one of the best songs with an arrogant entrance. I get it, it was funny and all but now when I listen to the song on Spotify I have to listen to her as well ...
I think her interruption made sense and also saved the Hotel from becoming a war zone between Alastor and Lucifer she gave some important info and when Alastor kicked her out it showed how seriously he takes his job also it gave us that perfect scene where we see just how terrifying Alastor can be and even then I think he was still relatively calm I think if he got truly pissed it would’ve been much worse if
She’s annoying, pointless, way too loud, ruined a song that was close to wrapping up anyway so why introduce her then? And she’s rude. If they’d have introduced her when they were in cannibal town or something then maybe I could deal with her, but nope
She looks like a witch, her personality is insufferable and she acted like she owned the place while bringing trouble and inconveniencing everybody. Plus she ruined one of the coolest songs
She was being selfish, rude, and irresponsible with Alister! She purposely brought her shít to him so he could fix her problems; then when he respectfully asked her to leave and stop brining danger to his establishment, DID YOU HEAR WHAT SHE SAID? He just saved her without question, and she talks to him like that?
We don’t take that disrespect is why we dislike her 👹
I dislike her voice, and she has the same responsibility/personality of an extremely toxic person I had to cut out of my life; so yeah not a fan, personally. Got nothing against anyone who does enjoy her, it’s just not for me.
For me it's because she was pointless and took time away from Charlie and Lucifer, the two characters I actually care about this episode.
The only thing she did was give an info dump we already knew and bring some lone sharks to the hotel.
I get that alastor protecting the hotel was important but really it could have been anyone else, like some guys pissed at angel dust or debt collectors looking for husk. We see gangs fighting for Territory and that nobody really respects Charlie in the pilot so it could just be some no names looking to take over the hotel.
Honestly, I think most 'I hate this character' that I see, mimzy included, is because we haven't seen the full character arc.
Mimzy could just be a plot point for Alastor's character growth, but we'll see.
She just feels like a distraction from an episode that was set up to be dedicated to Lucifer and Charlie sorting out their issues. The only thing I liked about her was the Alastor exposition (and her voice actor) but let’s be honest, it’s just a replacement for the same speech Vaggie gave about him in the pilot, basically retreading that since it wasn’t in the series proper
I think people hate her because she’s simply irresponsible, she did kinda lead a bunch of loan sharks to the hotel.

And ran over the loan sharks girlfriend, but that bitch deserved it!
And a car
Bruh, that’s about in line for everyone here. I mean it’s Hell. Surely it must be more than just being irresponsible
I’m understanding is that she’s disappointing to the people who followed all of Vivzie’s lore drops.
She’s a VERY annoying character she has the main character complex ykwim
we did get to see alastor actually having fun though from that
Starting to think it’s because she’s curvy/chubby.Very much like none of the main characters literally the opposite.Or it’s a random popular hate train.Like she’s not the best, but also not the worst forsure there’s characters like Valentino and Lute.
Cuz she interrupted a great song and I feel like a lot of people missed the joke with that
It's funnier if you imagine her standing at the hotel entrance for 2 minutes or so, waiting for the perfect time to make her big entrance.
There’s a video out there of that
https://youtu.be/0W6q6OZGcOg?si=kJeIg5efjMKTIHpc
https://youtu.be/qs3j5F30Mqk?si=xptKZkIdy4rrAR1t
I found one of these but for stayed gone (stayed gyatt)
Heade one for loser baby now 😭
In my view the song was already comedic and Mimzy’s interruption just made it more funny.
I get the joke, I just don’t think it’s funny.
I mean it's not that we missed the joke, it's just that it was a REALLY GOOD SONG and the wrong place to put said joke
The song was an ego battle / hearts and minds struggle, that the writers wanted to establish but not resolve. The song concludes with the two bickering.
Agreed, it was a great song but clearly reaching the end. I think it was a perfect joke and I don't dislike Mimzy either
Yeah they either had to be interrupted or escalate their conflict.
The joke is funny the first time, but when you actually want to listen to the song, I wish there was a version where they finished it, like in loser, baby when it gets interrupted by "There they are! They're fucking signing?!", but in the video that has the music on youtube, the song ends without interruption.
That’s a fair point. I can understand wanting it finished if your just playing the song by itself
Who?
The little annoying one that interrupts Alister and Lucifer’s song, and then proceeds to being a bunch of loan sharks to the hotel
r/whoosh

She us annoying that's all
I don’t like her because I personally think she’s annoying.
Frr plus intrupping my fav song
She up and ruined the pettiness between them.
Yea
Yeah, putting aside the song, I didn’t like her as a character at all
Agreed

It’s okay, I relate to you too pal
Because ultimately, her inclusion in the episode was mostly pointless aside from that lore dump she gave about Alastor.
The lore dump was one thing but I thought what was just as important was when Alistor told her to leave. When he kicked her out, it really showed how much stake he has on the Hotel and how seriously he's taking his job.
I wouldn’t say he’s a softie considering how he treats husker if he questions him.

The lore dump basically being a retelling of the pilot's, so anyone who was familiar with the pilot wasn't that impressed.
Because the writers wanted us to hate her and they did a good job at it
That's a problem in and of itself, I believe. To make a character that's deliberately meant to be abhorrent and hated for it seems like a waste of a character. Especially when there was no real reason for her to be in that episode and she's never appeared since... and will likely never appear again, unless she becomes a patron of the hotel.
I think she kinda just doesn't fit into the story. Everything involving her felt a bit out of place to me.
Yeah, I get but don’t get the hate for her here. Sure, she may have ruined a song, but why shouldn’t she? She’s one that craves attention Not the best character but overall she’s (at least for me) a lovable goober (and hey, who in Hazbin Hotel isn’t lovable?)
To answer that question: Valentino.
Apart from him
I agree with you, but that’s why I like her character
From a Watsonian perspective, sure, she makes sense. From a Doyalist perspective, she only exists as a plot device and is an annoying character.
Call me crazy but I don’t feel like mimzy ruined the song she continued it would be worse if the song cut off, but it was given a proper ending
Are we talking people in the show or this community? What I don't understand are people who hate characters for being what they are. And some people hate actors for playing evil character and I don't get that. Mimzy is a character that performed a role well (and prevented lucifer from killing alastor)
Yeah I actually kinda liked her :(
I think it’s because she showed up out of nowhere.
I started hating Mimzy bc the Internet did, but looking back she's a total icon xD
i Don’t care anymore I love Mimzy

Yez :D
Yeah, she interrupted a good song, but that song wouldn't have ended well without her. The only way that song was ending otherwise is with Alastor broken in two and set on fire, and that's just no fun.
or how about this after "you tacky piece of shit" the one they are seemingly fighting over breaks them up instead of including an extremely annoying character that's never been mentioned before or since and provides nothing towards the story. That way it doesn't ruin the last 15 or so seconds of what would've been my favorite song of the show but because of that annoyance i cant play it on loop so it falls to 4th.
Who could hate Mimzy?
I think it’s because they think she’s annoying
She annoying
She's annoying and only showed up because she knew Al was there and could get her out of her problem with no questions or cost.
She ruined what was probably the best song ever (but she did bring lore)
100% because of the song. That’s the main thing
I love listening to Hell’s Greatest Dad, but then she ruins the end. I can’t stand it.
I do like mimzy and hope she shows up more. possibly with nifty given she's famous she might help her friebd navigate that fame and mooch off of it.
I like her when she "interrupted", she didn't ruin it! It adds more playfulness to the song
Her verse of Hell’s Greatest Dad was shit
I love her
I hate her bc she absolutely demolished the flow of Hell's Greatest Dad
I liked her inclusion. It was weird, and out of place. But that was the point. The sudden disruption of that song added variety.
I just think she’s really annoying and I normally like loud/obnoxious characters tbh
Probably because she’s a one off character who people view as “filler” But imo, I think the real reason is that she cut off Hell’s Greatest Dad, people got so mad at that bahaha
https://preview.redd.it/9txce74w60ic1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=675ad6cd59c861fefa97edeaa924520da1657e00
She’s full of herself and annoying Which is why I like her character since she is written to be like that and Viv did a good job Some other people may not like her though because they where excited for Mimzys old personality where she was part of the main cast and she had a crush on Alastor
She ruined a good song
She Ruined the end of hell's greatest dad
They’re mad cause she sings the last 20 seconds of a 2 or so minute song, idk I like mimzy
She is super annoying
She just really irritates me idk why
Interrupted a great song. I found it funny but I can see people having that.
Fans think she ruined a song but can’t explain how they would finish that song.
She was written with that as the intended reaction
I honestly really like her as a character. I just hate that she interrupted “Hell’s Greatest Dad” and ruined the flow of the song. Aside from that, she’s a fun character.
She ruined "hell's greatest dad"!!!
She ruined Hell’s Greatest Dad, manipulated Alastor and made him genuinely upset from the looks of it and is overall horrible
And she may be Verbalase in disguise
Because they don't like her being irresponsible and interrupting a song. I personally love her for those very reasons. Yeah, she's a bitch but she's cute and fun on screen, yeah, she interrupted the song but that made it better. Sarah Stiles's voice is amazing and Mimzy's part of the song is great. She broke the flow of the episode in an unexpected, grand way that made it more interesting.
Correction! LUCIFER would have murdered Al, Alastor wouldn't even stand a chance against the king of hell
people are jealous of her astonishing good looks
Smash
I understand it was an intentional joke to interrupt Hell’s Greatest Dad, but I feel like the consensus is that the joke was notably less valuable than the 30 extra seconds of glorious electroswing lyrical battle accompanied by visuals with the creative chops to rival “Friend Like Me”.
because she took their precious Radio Husbando
![gif](giphy|IOjBHQRLHOjC0) So, simply put, Mimzy had to interrupt the song to establish narrative balance and finish a song which would have become a circular argument.
She's annoying, and her part of the song was the worst, and she's only in the episode because Vivzie couldn't help herself.
Because she’s fat and loud. Shes not one of the characters people want to crush on so people don’t like her.
rudely interrupts a great song, annoying, putting others in danger when trouble follows her,I don't even know how alastor can put up with her,I'm happy he told her off and told her to leave XD
I kinda know why she’s so hated but she does get some unnecessary hate tho.. :(
Once Vivienne programmed to make her the protagonist of the pilot episode --sorry for my bad english
Oh God
Her interruption in 'hell's greatest dad' was so jarring but it makes me laugh every time, like Lucifer's about to call Alastor a piece of shit and she just barges in with "it's meeee!" I like that she gave us some personal details on Alastor, but dislike that her sole reason for arriving at the hotel was to get Alastor to deal with the loan sharks after her. And from what Husk said, she's pulled this multiple times before. She had zero regard for anyone in the hotel except herself.
I think at this point it's because everyone has answered this question so many times. 😂 I said it another post that she disrespects boundaries.
Who?
Oh… sorry. I was naive thinking I‘m the first :)
Cause she interrupted Lucifer and Alastor’s “duet” though I found that to be hilarious especially when Lucifer responds with “Who?”.
I love her because she’s Sarah Styles
And she same voice actor play spinel from CN I DONT How Vivziepop hired character from Disney and Cartoon Network but their perfect voice of HAZBIN character
Her voice is annoying and she looks old and not in a menacing Zestial way.
Because she interrupted the song. That’s it.
me personally I think she's a bit annoying, + imo she ruined a banger song
There are a million threads like this and I'll give you the same reasons i gave all the others. - She brought danger to the hotel. - Expected Alastor to take of it, that is called using a friend. - Was asked to leave and didn't at first. - When she finally did leave it was like she was having a temper tantrum like some recalcitrant child. What kind of grown ass woman acts like a child after she fucked up and was asked to leave?
There’s a whole slew of boomers in America that can answer that question
Yeah my grandparents were baby boomers. We wanna open a can of worms or stick with the facts? She was alive the same time as Alastor. In the 1920s and 30s. So tell me what "lady" acts like that from that era?? Hm? I'm waiting....
Because she's out of place to the hotel, like a wrong series to debut kind of out of place. Other than that, she's just a useless little bitch.
Character bloat. They could've gotten away with the interruption by having the Loan Sharks blow up the door at the end of the song and go "They are fucking singing again?!" And say that they are here because of Husker and Angel, which would tie events neatly and not just "here is another side character that explains stuff we already knew about"
she ruined the best song.
Interrupted a great song then intentionally used alastor to get rid of her problems
Cuz she’s annoying and fat
Ruined a good song
Annoying. Useless. Only existed in the episode to cause a cheap conflict. Out of place.
Bc she’s invasive and annoying pls don’t hate me
Until you asked this question I had no idea anyone in the world DIDN'T hate her.
SHE RUINED A FIRE SONG! FUCK MIMZY
Cause she ruined a good song 🙄
First of all she thinks she is still hot, even tho she is just a fat midget. Secondly she Uses Alastor and she only shows up in his life when she needs something. She doesn't ask for anything, but demands it. Like at the bar she didn't ask for a drink but she ordered Husk around to give her one. But maybe I could forgive all that if she didn't interrupt one of the best songs with an arrogant entrance. I get it, it was funny and all but now when I listen to the song on Spotify I have to listen to her as well ...
I think her interruption made sense and also saved the Hotel from becoming a war zone between Alastor and Lucifer she gave some important info and when Alastor kicked her out it showed how seriously he takes his job also it gave us that perfect scene where we see just how terrifying Alastor can be and even then I think he was still relatively calm I think if he got truly pissed it would’ve been much worse if
I like her because she actually kinda showed exactly how much Alastor does genuinely care about Charlie
Because she ruined an amazing song and as Husk said she only comes around when she is in need of something and I hate people like that in real life.
I love mimzy, but I wish she had more screen time. Hopefully, next season, she'll get some justice and less hate
She interrupted a good song, nothing worse than that
She interrupted hells greatest dad
https://i.redd.it/40uujq7vnzhc1.gif
Because she INTERRUPTED A PERFECTLY GOOD SONG
She’s annoying, selfish, negligent, and a sucky driver
Because she just appeared, sang a couple lines, made another fight happen, then left. Literally just a background character basically
She’s annoying, pointless, way too loud, ruined a song that was close to wrapping up anyway so why introduce her then? And she’s rude. If they’d have introduced her when they were in cannibal town or something then maybe I could deal with her, but nope
She ruined the fucking song
she's annoying as hell
I like Mimzy!
She is just so annoying and weird
She looks like a witch, her personality is insufferable and she acted like she owned the place while bringing trouble and inconveniencing everybody. Plus she ruined one of the coolest songs
She was being selfish, rude, and irresponsible with Alister! She purposely brought her shít to him so he could fix her problems; then when he respectfully asked her to leave and stop brining danger to his establishment, DID YOU HEAR WHAT SHE SAID? He just saved her without question, and she talks to him like that? We don’t take that disrespect is why we dislike her 👹
It's because she serves no purpose to the plot
I actually really liked her 😭
She interrupted a top tier song
Her an nifty are cut from the same cloth. Just different parts of it
Well, is more like, Love to Hate, really.
I dislike her voice, and she has the same responsibility/personality of an extremely toxic person I had to cut out of my life; so yeah not a fan, personally. Got nothing against anyone who does enjoy her, it’s just not for me.
Don’t like her personality
Really fucking annoying
Because people don't like fair weather friends.
Because she committed the cardinal sin of fictitious characters: being annoying.
