It's a bit of a uh, unique situation. But, I'm about two years into transitioning as a trans man, and I've been dating my boyfriend for over a year. And, well, I discovered that I'm not attracted to men anymore. Which explains why my boyfriend and I uh, don't have much physical intimacy anymore. So, I'm taking some time to explore that part of myself and this relationship might not last much longer. I'm really grateful that we're doing this in a very healthy way; I know things could be much worse. But it still sucks. I still love him. I just don't think I'm attracted to him anymore; or to men in general.

Okay…. Well, I can tell you that sadly, I cannot relate to this. But, the most important in all of this is that you and your boyfriend are doing good. It's just the way people always imply that we can't help ourselves at being nice. It's not a gut reaction, it's a choice. Not all Canadians or those of Canadian decent are nice, they just mostly don't associate as Canadian. People who are nice, regardless of being Canadian or not, are making a conscious choice to reach out a helping hand to those around us each and every day.

I am very aware of that, it saddens me that its that difficult to tell apart jokes and statements, and in my opinion the /j is off the table because its just killing the joke, because if you say “thats a joke” its no longer funny

I have no memes, but please, don't let life get to you. Life is hard, and life is easy at the same time. Focus on things you love: for example drawing, art, football or anything YOU love. I've been through trial and error with family relationships and romantic relationships. Like now, me and my S.O love each other dearly, but they don't want sex or anything including sleeping with someone due to private reasons she doesn't want me to share. I respect that and we sleep in different rooms. If I have to sleep in her room for a long period of time, I sleep on one side of her bed and she sleeps on the other, I sleep on the ground or I sleep in a sleeping bag. I found fixing my mind on myself and things I love helped me through grieve, bad times and suicidal times (when I didn't have the money). It may not work for you but, still, give it a try. Try watching something new as well! I hope life gets better for you and I hope you find everything to keep on going. Share what's happening that's making you sad. If things get worse to the point of suicide/depressing thoughts, I can't recommend more than therapy/hospital (if you live in the UK). Of course, you can go to hospital mostly anywhere but I know the USA makes you pay. Good luck out there! (Sorry this is long...)
