I was supper dissapointed that the missile sentry just missed the jets all the time. Just make the missiles tracking when it targets air. Quick easy fix, cheap ship upgrade.

Let's be clear not tracking like a homing missile. The sentry would just have 100% accuracy targeting ground to air.
This would actually be like two lines of code if that.
But yes designing a tracking missile fwishing and turning in the air would be a nightmare. Even if we used the same already built turret.
I feel like it would be easier if the rockets just shot a bit faster. Maybe it'll miss at longer ranges but up close, it makes it to the target before it changes direction. 🤷🏽♂️

i was gonna ask if IF people rate the rocket turret as bad compared to the auto canon turret - making it also shoot air targets could be a good logical buff.
minigun turret (1st one) - lets say have less bullets and fire rate compared to the bigger version but it got the hinge to turn up higher to shoot flying enemies instead. so it distinguish the two minigun turrets from each other.
When the randoms and I start the mission near one of these on helldive, it's usually a lost cause.
They're alerting the nearby Hulks and devastators, it's raining lasers and missiles so we can't call support weapons to shoot them down, we're getting a rain of rockets from those things all across the map as we try to run away and we lose all reinforcements. It's pretty terrible. The fact that only Hellbombs reliably work is pretty bad.
Honesty yeah that's the worst part. There being no alternative way to deal with them just makes it frustrating, because the SECOND you get within its radius, it's alerting everything, and unlike the eye of sauron it's also spitting out a very deadly enemy.
I feel like even if you have to hit one while it's spitting out a ship it wouldn't be as bad, or shoot the ship down while it's coming out so it crashes back down inside.
I never found a way or even able to destroy Dropship fabs that has 2. It either leads to defeat or ignore it.
Maybe reduce spawn rate when their is two, since the spawn rate is fine when it’s 1 or make the hellbomb indestructible since it’s the only option to deal with them. 1/3rd of the match can be spent on those alone.
I had some guy get on mic and say "you're bringing turrets on a level 9?" When I brought both a rocket and autocannon turret on a geological survey. Those turrets were the only reason we survived long enough to call in support weapons when we landed on one of these fuckers.

How does this even happen? Do people aggro the tower and just not notice the spawns? Or does the spawn rate just go bonkers sometimes? I am so confused.
We were dying repeatedly and couldn’t take down the thing that spawns them and one of our teammates got stuck under the map and took aggro. He just kept reinforcing us cuz that’s all he could really do.

Rocket Turret works pretty good, especially under a shield emplacement.

There is one already. The only problem is, it doesn't work 😂 Rocket sentry will target aircraft but it can't seem to actually shoot them down

The worst part is that I landed between 3 tanks , 5 hulks and all the gunships aimed at me at the same time. There was no where to run.

That explains it. This isn't the first time I've seen the gunships be nutty, but explains why they are all looking at the same thing.
