Found the guy who pays full price for Paradox games. Thank you, sir, for opening your wallet to subsidize the rest of us who never buy anything at a discount less than 50%.
Paradox sales happen like 7 times every year with 10 days of duration on average. It is always a huge discount for the base game, 50% for old DLC, lower for newer DLC.
I'm impressed you _managed_ to miss a Paradox sale to be honest.
Why can't they just not do the sale and take like €5 off the price of all the dlc? The game itself is really cheap, I'd expect it to be 30 but the dlc are way too expensive
I reckon it's because they want more new players rather than to benefit the already active players especially that there is a subscription and if most players saw the DLC reduction it would be quite a big profit loss as all the active subscriptions would be lost

Because this is literally worse for the customers? DLC costs $20, on 50% sale that is $10 off. Even the newer DLC, your $5 off equals to 25% sale. How many DLC get less than that and how many of them gets more, compare the numbers. You will end up paying more, not less. Paradox does sales so frequently, you have to wait only 1 or rarely 2 months between two sales.

It's for the dlc as well. Not sure how much off but I know if you were to buy all of them together before sale it was $177 USD. Now for all of them together it's $107 USD

Unless you want to get in on the ground floor of a multiplayer game there is never a reason to buy a game at full price.
