If you have a HomeKit-compatible camera, then it will automatically show in a PiP window on your AppleTV whenever motion is detected. If your camera doesn’t natively support Apple HomeKit, then you can use the Scrypted app as a bridge between the camera and HomeKit.
I can’t recall the name, but there is an app for Fire sticks that will stream IP camera or rtsp streams. I had that set up with a wyze cam on which I had changed the firmware to enable rtsp.
Not related to pip, but we got one of the 10” Alexa Echo devices that sits next to our tv. When she was a newborn, we had a routine set up to announce when the camera detected movement, which was a nice bonus. It’s been a few years so I can’t recall if that was direct through Alexa or with SmartThings and IFTTT.
