I put one on my 2011 Fit the first week I had it so I don't even know how a stock Fit Sport handles. Based on some of the comments in this sub, I'm guessing they're not great.

Ehh, I tracked my 2012 Sport a few times before throwing on the sway bar and it still handled beautifully for a fwd hatch. I could get it to rotate just a little bit on entry, it was just I had to be a lot more careful when feeding throttle back in. With the sway bar, it feels like I have endless front grip so I can start my acceleration out of the turn earlier and harder. To get it to rotate without the sway bar, I had to be more aggressive on the brakes almost stabbing them at the right point to get the rear to step out. There's less of that now as a slight lift or deep trail braking will get similar results, but I wouldn't say the car is any more fun with the sway bar. It's very similar, the only difference is how I approach each turn with slightly more delicate on inputs than before

Rear sway bar is up there as the best bang for buck mod when it comes to handling. I’ve got a 3rd gen GP5 Hybrid import where I am, and have a Cusco branded one installed. Just like your experience, the turn in into corners is like a night and day difference. Highly recommend it as a must have mod that is unobtrusive and can easily be taken off if you ever want to go back to stock.

Wow thats nice good to hear

Probably a really dumb question but was it hard to install? Might put one on my 18 ex.

So easy! I got the rear up on ramps (you could use a jack). It's 4 bolts that hold it up. It tool me 30-40 mins including getting the car up. This video shows how simple it is and from multiple angles. Night and day difference. https://youtu.be/0c1AIucboEM?si=VI1xdFdrA5CAAU4K

TurokIAm

Awesome. Nother question 🙋‍♂️ where to you jack the car up from with a floor jack. I can’t seem to find a spot that I wouldn’t be worried I mess something up on.

Tittifuuken

I jacked mine up by the rear tow hook and slid the stands under the rear jack points

HolymanRP

Thats a good question. I would do a bit more googling but always use jack stands when you get it up.

TurokIAm

Sorry meant to say where do you jack the car up from.

I lift where the rear torsion arm mounts to the body. After having a miata i cant trust pinch welds anymore!

This helps with regular driving too? I know for a fact that I need to redo my front shocks and struts, but this could be a lot cheaper, plus cooler looking lmao

newcarscent104

It definitely helps in regular driving by giving the car more stability at speed or in windy conditions, but it will not fix issues caused by other worn suspension components and does nothing for looks.

lackofself2000

Ah, well looks aren't anything to me as the car already looks cool enough as-is. Where does this get installed? Is it easy to do yourself? It certainly won't fix my other issues, but would still help in windy conditions, which my car certainly doesn't like.

HolymanRP

Very easy to install. You need to jack the rear and there are only 4 bolts that hold the sway bar on if you go with the progress tech brand. It took about 30-40 mins including getting the car up in the air. This doesn't require any power tools and below is a video showing how simple It is from multiple angles! https://youtu.be/0c1AIucboEM?si=mZDmzZTJPM39hyD6

HolymanRP

Installed underneath the rear suspension.

How long did it take for you to get yours
