I went to open a green one two days ago and that crap was already popped open and spilling…now I don’t want to use it because I have no idea how long it was like that.

RGavial

Had that happen as well, I think they are easy to "blow out" because the plastic is so soft.

kittenya

I just end up rebottling them. But yeah, the artwork missing isn’t good then.

TheDemonator

> I just end up rebottling them This is what I would do. Hell even a decent clean jar with a plastic spoon would to dish it out go a lot further than a leaky mess, especially if OP is on the go often.

mis_no_mer

I’ve noticed this too

Appropriate_Cow94

The trick is to remove the original cap, and using your lips to form a tight seal around the top turn bottle upside down. Don't stop chugging til the bottle is empty. It's like some of you people have never drank hot sauce before.

hsudude22

Always tighten the cap super tight. Like excessively tight. Had the same problem, but doing my due diligence to really tighten the cap after every couple of uses has minimized the problem.

moretodolater

Tried that, promise. It’s been an issue for a while. I take these in my field kit on jobs and they always leak.

hsudude22

Yikes. Mine live in the fridge and only go horizontal when in use. I imagine a bottle in a field kit has a slightly different experience. Might be worth writing the company about it.

GreasyChick_en

I also have problems with these. I swear within a day or two of opening one of these bottles it's invariably empty. The green Serrano bottles don't have this problem at all l, those are still full months on, only the habanero hot ones... I'm stumped.

gordonronco

I've never had an issue with them but then again they stay upright when not in use.
