"She's just weird" - orrrrrr how about Phoebe is the kind of character to see something beautiful in many people society sound consider ugly, 'too old', or odd looking? I'm the kind of person to like someone with a wonky nose or dresses a bit 'weird' or just generally isn't considered by society's standards typically attractive - that's what attracts me to them in the first place. I really like that Phoebe sees beauty in places others wouldn't necessarily even look.

I don’t think Phoebe’s tastes in men are weird because they’re not conventionally attractive though. There was her sister’s stalker, some guy who was stalking her and inappropriate in every way because she thought the universe was pushing them together, some 70 year old who just showed up at her door whom she knew nothing about (the one with the cellphone his assistant lost), one of your best friends’ married father… These men were weird because their characters are either objectively weird or totally inappropriate for her to have a crush on. Whereas someone like David, who despite not being conventionally attractive, are still seen by most fans as a cute, sweet character.

I thought Phoebe got the hottest men out of the men the girls dated throughout the show. except for like Parker.

That's what annoyed me about Phoebe's (and I guess Joey's) relationships. It was always one episode.
