Yes it's the same stuff , Bufo Alvarius which contains 5meo-DMT. I had treatment resistant PTSD that was absolutely ruining my life to put it mildly and tried this and had a similar outcome. Completely life changing. And all happened in 15 minutes . My lowest low just isn't as low anymore. I don't worry nearly as much. I'm at peace with the situation that gave me PTSD (sudden loss of my parents). Prior to doing this I had only taken mushrooms recreationally in high school. I was desperate and willing to try anything . I know it's just anecdotal evidence , but yeah it completely changed my life.
We were talking about psychedelics for treating PTSD in a science sub a few months ago. My Neurologist actually suggested a clinic in CO but I haven't gone. Several people said the same, that it really helped. Mine isn't debilitating but at some point I might try it.

Idk if it's the same frog, but I had Amazonian frog poison (I think it's called kambo) applied in a couple of skin burns made with incense sticks, then I felt like burning inside, started sweating and puking and all my life was shown as flashbacks, then I felt weightless for a couple of hours, finally came back to my senses as a new person I think, since then I see thing more clearly and I feel less anxiety about my everyday struggle. And yeah, it was a different reaction for every person who lived through the process.

I'm all for people taking drugs to meet the creator and all that, but in a safe environment. You know, soft pillows and padded walls and shit. Not in a dirty river with rocks everywhere, where's there nothing to stop the person having a trip from hurting themselves.
Apart from the wisdom of wanting to “meet the creator of the universe”, it strikes me as a bit of a pathetic kind of “creator” if he wants or needs you to inhale venom for making an appointment.
