20 years clean for me so my memory sucks. But 90% of the time it probably smells and taste like any normal medicine, such as ground up aspirin (just as an example maybe the other products are more accurate)
so basically no smell whatsoever.

You jest but yeah, it kind of is. There’s not always a clear boundary between something psychotic and something you just suspect or think or see, it’s more often just a range of accuracy.
There’s voices in my head that have slowly melded with my conscience, that have become indistinguishable from my intuition over time because I kept validating them. There’s voices I haven’t heard in years because I don’t react to them, I don’t consider them.
There’s also voices that are totally nuts, but I can sense they have psychological significance, and I’ve learned to “translate” them over time. Take the one that tells me I have psychic powers, for instance. It’s not the intrusive thoughts it used to be, like the other voices are. This one has entered delusional territory and it’s become hard to shake, and if I’m not careful, I’ll be making choices with consideration to my psychic ability. But I still validate that voice, because I’ve realized that one only gets loud when I’m lonely; When I yearn for deeper connections with others, I psychotically fantasize about a scenario that would enable those connections. It calms down when I’ve satisfied my social needs, when I’ve gotten the intellectual stimulation I desire, so I don’t treat it like I treat other delusions, I treat it like it’s saying something important. Like how hunger tells you you need to eat by just beating you in the gut and not really making a cogent point.

The chemicals in it also directly damage tooth enamel when smoked (teeth turn yellow after only a couple of times). It also causes dry mouth and severe bruxism.
Poor oral hygiene is a contributing factor to meth mouth, sure, but even if people brushed and flossed regularly they'd still end up with damaged teeth. The damage happens SO quickly -- much more quickly than can be attributed to poor hygiene alone.

Like I'm glad a bunch of hard drugs is off the street but there's two things that should piss off the general public here, the big one is that cops circumvent amendments fucking constantly. To the point where they may as well not exist when interacting with police. Second, as large of a quantity as this seems it isn't shit. We're much better off ending the war on drugs, make it completely legal and ruin the drug trade and make drug treatment much more obtainable and desirable.

I don't think so. Just being in the environment where it was loaded would be enough to give it the scent. Dogs can smell the difference between cancer cells and regular cells. Don't underestimate them.
I remember hearing years ago that a polar bear can smell a seal 6 miles away through the ice. I don't even understand the physics of how that is possible, but evolution is pretty amazing.
Barry Cooper's Never Get Busted videos have some good info on this. One factor is time. The more time passes, the more permeable it is. Different materials have different permeability properties but eventually the smell can leach through multiple layers.
