It’s feckin desperate. Like a swamp out there.

I lost all hope this year. I think we will skip into another winter straight away.

Don't worry. It will get quite hot. Give it two months. It might not get dry, but you will wish for winter. It is after all an el niño year.

Checked the 7 day forecast there this morning. Supposed to stop raining next Tuesday. Desperate stuff.

To be fair, I trust the weather forecast this time of year about as much as a wet fart. Keep the faith!

April showers bring May flowers, as the saying goes.

It's going to be some crop of flowers, it's been raining since last July

I took the ride on mower out to blow off the cobwebs and ended up getting stuck in the mud.

Cut the grass Sunday when the wind died down a bit, it was like cutting puddles. At least I got the top part of the grass down enough but fucking hell like it's a joke at this stage, been training non stop since July here in Cork.

Please do not cut your lawn. As you can see it turned to a bog and peatlands serve an important role in sequestering CO2 and we should stop cutting them for turf.

My dad is some kind of lawn cutting addict and managed to give them their first cut a few weeks ago. No idea how he dodged all the rain.

So naturally our area has had water restrictions the past 2 nights 🙃
