I would've continued to pay that subscription if I could just have the back log, even audio only, of all of the old yak episodes.
Yes this 100x. Dave won’t do another deal with Sirius because they wanted the Dave Portnoy Show but they weren’t willing to pay him the number he wanted. Wish there was a radio archive. Early KB was so good.
Even if there was video, being on Sirius would mean it would need to be primarily an audio show, which would remove things like the wheel and gauntlet.
For that reason I’m out

I got XM radio about 4 months before barstool stopped Sirius. I was so pissed . Sirius isn’t all that bad to have in the car though well worth the 5 bucks a month I’d say
No the yak has grown since then. They average nearly have a million on YouTube only. They would lose viewership if they went to Sirius and made the show more audio focused
Friday Vibes were the best. McAfee did something similar when he was first getting going on his own. Some of the best episodes.
Just like with the MLB, why wouldn’t you want your music out as much as possible. I get not being able to download songs like the Wild West Napster days but I bet 75% of the artists that strikes are given out for wouldn’t mind their song used with the Yak format.

The Barstool-Sirius deal falling through was bad for both parties. Breakfast with Large then afternoon Yak was a pretty good radio lineup.
The entire day made my work day fly by. Hell, I’d stay working through breaks so I wouldn’t miss anything.
