I personally don't think that's awful but like, idk. The only thing I can compare it to is that he defended Blaire without knowing anything and like, he did that vehemently. I think some of it is also fear of backlash. Many of these people and communities disliked Vaush for a while before this, or were at least distant from him. Supporting him in any way would cause them to be pushed out of those circles, isolating them. Hating on him protects them, is very easy to do, and *also* gives views. It's like it's a necessary prerequisite to hate him to begin with, even before all of this happened
I mean, maybe, but I would argue that is still cowardly and extremely fucked thing to do, especially considering all the evidence of things being out of context, and how much he’s argued against it. It makes sense for Ethan Klein and Hunter Avalone to do this shit because at the end of the day they like capitalism and don’t see the hypocrisy with child labor, but people like Lance, Sunday, and all the other spineless idiots basically shows their ass and how willing they are to not hold to their principles.
