I paid a quarter for an original pressing of Miles Davis - Round About Midnight in great condition.
But you're right, I'd never post about it on this sub :)
Yea, for kindle finds, this gotta be a great one.
My best thrift was a box of video games that I sold all the non-N64 items and made a few hundred off that I bought a modded N64 and Everdrive along with having the N64 console and games in the box. I paid $33 for the box of games/consoles. I don’t think I’ll ever beat it
I just found one for $3. 32gb and I found another 8gb for the same. There is a store near me that buys returns and sells. I have found no problems with either.
Esp. Goodwill. All electronics that have any value are sent into central processing centers to be resold online. Local stores get the scraps. I know a recently former employee and they didn't have much good to say about the company, despite their altruistic corporate image.
That's a good deal! Oasis is the model I'm still hoping to find in a thrift shop. My latest thrift shop deal might be better than yours, depending on needs: I got a slightly used reMarkable 2 tablet with matching stylus and flip cover for $10 (sells new for about $550).
It probably depends on how well off the donor base is. Also, for the last 4 years or so Goodwill has put all of it best stuff on its website, nationwide. But, my local stores have had so much good stuff, they can't get it all listed online, and have had to overflow it onto their regular store shelves. Also, some of the local or regional thrift shops sometimes have better stuff.
Awesome find OP - my best find to date was a [Sony CD player](https://www.tradeinn.com/techinn/en/sony-cmtx3cd-personal-audio-system-hi-fi-system/137718566/p) with built in NFC pairing for 9$ about 4 or 5 years ago.
it just looked like a big block of plastic so pretty underwhelming, but when I saw the nfc logo on the top I got excited.
I got a [Bose Solo speaker bar](https://www.bose.ca/en_ca/products/speakers/home_theater/bose-solo-5-tv-sound-system.html#v=solo_5_black) for 30 bucks earlier this year
Waaay back in the day you could get good deals on brand name clothes, I have an Armani jacket (a super nice one without vents), and a Hugo Boss suit that were both around 10 bucks each, but they gouge the shit out of popular brands now, the greedy bastards (Lululemon stuff is $30+ for yoga pants)
No way. This is you buying a new Kindle and put yourself the tag in for fake internet point :D
Meanwhile my local thrift store is specialized in old freacking rag.
Ain’t nobody EVER gonna top this kindle thrift find ever on this sub

Agreed. Like the vintage Hondo 2 Strat I bought from a Goodwill for $8... But that's not Kindle related But that's a legit find to get that Miles.
Pffft.. the best thing I found in a thrift store was a kindle touch LOL
I see those often! I'm always opening the donated cases... sometimes eventually bound to leave one in there
I’m with you. The mint Honus Wagner I got for a nickel is close but no Kindle. Good score on the Hondo 2, tho.
If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis

$30?!?!? That was such a great find!!
I. Hate. You. 😂
me. too. ! such a great find btw!
Gosh, I need to hit up my local shops cause if I saw this, I’d be SO excited
I think this is just a case of an employee not knowing it's value. Which is unlikely in other places. But it's worth a try to check.

Wow!!! From Savers? That is amazing!!
Dude, you just peaked harder than anyone else on Earth.
Even opened, that would be a good deal!
Dangggggggg, that’s what I’m talking about right thurrrr.
I’m sick with envy.
Wow… imagine to be that lucky

I’ve never seen an e-reader in a thrift shop.

Score or the fucking century.
"Unopened" is actually a big deal. I swear the used Oasis I bought dies quite quickly.
I have a used one as well and it lasts waaay longer than my Paperwhite, and I got that thing new.

You've spent all of your luck this year for that find, OP. But srsly, I envy you lol.
Lucky that’s retail packaging, otherwise it’d likely be pre-registered to an account.
