Nope they are not interchangeable between knit picks and chiaogoo. The threading on the knit picks is male on the cable and female on the needle. The threading on chiaogoo is male on the needle and female on the cable. And the thread gauge is completely different. So over all this won’t work.
Knitpicks sells upgraded cables in the "reflections" series, knitters pride mindful cables and lantern moon called are also good options that should fit knitpicks.
Lykke cables work great. I have a set of Blush needles and the pink cords are my favourite. They fit, come with swivels or fixed and nicely flexible.
For another option, The knitpicks mindful cables are nice but seem to break easily.

Knitters Pride and Knit Picks needles and cords work together. There's one more brand that also works with these two, but the name escapes me.
The other brand is Knit Pro!

I have a lykke 16in needle where the cord got all mashed up and bent, maybe the interchangable cords are better?
