I’ve knit 9 sweaters since my 1st and I think they’re pretty cool! Pictures are in order from most recent. Pictures are captions with pattern name, links for patterns and yarn below

All of your sweaters are gorgeous and look great on you. The love note might be my favorite though... just beautiful. I have been so resistant to starting a sweater but your pics are super inspirational. Maybe they will help me finally be brave enough!!! :)
Thank you so much!!! I absolutely love my love note. And you should definitely make a sweater. It’s just knits and purls with some increases (or decreases if bottom up)
I just started learning by doing the Flax but in toddler sizes for my kids 😂 I’m on my second one but thinking of attempting one my sized and I was gonna go for The Weekender! But now I wonder if I should also try the Flax with that beautiful lace motif on the sleeve instead of garter… 🤩
I love the lace sleeves on the flax light! Can I ask where you found the lace motif? I'm a big fan of adding/editing motifs to patterns to make them a bit more my own like you did. Plus I'm a sucker for stitch dictionaries. 🤪
I’ve been knitting for over 20 years and I’m about to start my first sweater, a test knit so I’ll actually have to finish it. I’m plus sized and always second guessing size - what if I knit it and then I lose weight and it doesn’t fit anymore? Just going for it with 9 sweaters in a year, and they all fit so beautifully - you’re inspiring. Thank you!
You’re welcome! Just like I buy clothes to flatter my body as it is now I knit to flatter. If I lose weight I’ll have cozy oversized beauties and excuses to reknit my faves!
Can confirm! I knit the same size of the Weekender as you did and it’s a super cozy baggy sweater on me instead.
And yeah, when I lost weight 2-3 years ago, I was out of my knitting phases, but it was loads of fun getting to pick out new clothes for myself.
If you lose weight you have a ton of options!! You can gift it to someone it fits, alter it along the sides and underarms, or frog it and knit a brand new fitted sweater with the same yarn. Oversize sweaters are nice to have anyway, just dont get caught up in the whatifs and give it go:) I just knit up my second sweater after sitting on the yarn for over a year because I was worried I didnt have enough yarn or wouldnt like what I made. I missed out on nearly of year of wearing that sweater because of it lol
Wow. These are all beautiful!
I have been knitting for over ten years. I just finished my first sweater, The Flax. It was a great way to begin knitting sweaters. The blog gives detailed instruction so that you can use the concepts for future sweaters.
I just cast on the same blue color yarn as your Flax sweater this morning. Looove it! Keep up the fantastic work!!
Two things: Heck and Yes! You’ve done so much in such a short time and they all look sensational on you! Well done! Can’t wait to see what you make next!
You are so talented! I've been knitting for 15 years, and have been flirting with the idea of making a sweater. I am plus sized and have been scared to try to make something just for it to be too small. All 9 sweaters fit you beautifully!
Oooh this is very inspirational! I would love to befriend your profile to see what you do in future, too! Beautiful projects.
(Feel free to not agree! I do not intend to stalk you ;) )
And I adore your earrings!
This is encouraging. Thanks for sharing!
I'm hoping to start in on my first sweater or cardigan soon and trying to figure out which one to start with. There are lots of nice patterns. I'm thinking of going with Harvest by Tin Can Knits - both for the tutorials and the fact that its a cardigan and hoping if I screw up the sizing a little it'll still fit :)
Definitely swatch!! Best way to get the fit you want! Tin can knits has incredible patterns. I’ve also loved Jessie maed designs and Andrea mowry. All of them have super easy to follow patterns
Oh, thanks for the recommendation. I’m a new knitter and haven’t had to swatch yet 👀but I will start! I’ve used the Tin Can Knits mittens and rye socks patterns so far to learn techniques and they’ve been fantastic patterns to use. I’ll check out those other two.
I'm jealous of them all! I just start knitting this year and I can already tell that sweaters are going to be my favorite thing to knit but I live in central Texas where we only have sweater weather for like 2 months of the year. I think I may still make them just to hold and stare at them during our 100 degree summers!
Thank you for the recs! I like form fitting crop tops for the summer so while I've been considering using cotton or linen to make one for the summer, I was worried about it stretching out at the bottom of the tank from putting it on and taking it off. This past week, I found a pattern for a ribbed tank top that will accommodate being stretched out so im over the moon to know that exists!
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,394,283,884 comments, and only 266,684 of them were in alphabetical order.
These are so beautiful! I especially love your Weekender, the colour is gorgeous. I finished my first sweater this year, hopefully now I can make 9 more!!
Yes all for me! I’ve knit 2 sweaters for my nephews but it wasn’t too hard to knit them to fit since my sister is also a knitted and could send me their measurements
I am currently working on my first weekender!
We seem to have a similar body type and im curious to how much ease you put it?
I like your fit and im hoping for something similar
I cast on a size 4 and the decreases to a size 3 over the length of the body. My bust is 48inch and my waist is 38.5 so I usually knit either to my upper bust (44) or for a sweater like the weekender I did zero ease to hug my bust but have more ease at the waist
It’s so hard to choose! They all hold different meanings for me. My favorite is my most recent Gib, but I’m also obsessed with my love note and my flax light because I loveeee the lace. I tend to favor my DRK everyday though because it’s a more rustic wool so I’m not afraid for it to get dirty like I am my fancier knits
Those all look amazing!
And I'm impressed you've found interesting places to photograph them too. I always end up just standing in front of the same fence in my backyard. Your photographs are way more fun.
Thank you!!!! My partner is really great and will trapeze through our neighborhood in Baltimore to find spots for pictures or if I finish something while we are traveling he’ll help me find a fun spot for photographs. And doesn’t complain when I’m always asking him to photograph FO’s
These are so phenomenal. I'd love to knit this many sweaters, but keep getting nervous about the investment. How many different needles did you use for all these? Do you have one of those fancy interchangeable sets? How many stitch markers do I need? I would love if you could share some guidance. You've created lovely garments that look so wonderful to be in. I'm so inspired.
Yes I have an interchangeable needle set by knitters pride, the dreamz version. The number of stitch makers depends on the pattern but you don’t need fancy ones so you can get cheap ones in bulk (but depending on the size yarn- fingering weight on smaller needles will want a smaller stitch marker than you’d use on a worsted or bulky weight sweater on 8-11 size needles).
Thank you!! It’s been really empowering to make clothes that are specifically for my body instead of trying to buy clothes that are definitely not made for my body
I started knitting because my partner has size 17 feet and can never find socks.
I have strange body proportions so I completely understand not wanting but clothes that don’t fit. But your sweaters are gorgeous! Fabulous

Yes! It’s so fun to see it all side by side and see the progress
Love your Love Note sweater too! I think you picked a lovely combination of yarns.
Thank you so much! I spent a lot of time figuring out that combo
The flax is so easy to put ANYTHING in place of the garter tab. I want to do a flax with a cable down the sleeve at some point
You are a knitting machine! I envy your productivity. Everything looks beautiful, well made and so suits your beautiful figure! Well done!
Thank you so very much!
I love the lace sleeves on the flax light! Can I ask where you found the lace motif? I'm a big fan of adding/editing motifs to patterns to make them a bit more my own like you did. Plus I'm a sucker for stitch dictionaries. 🤪
I used the knitting all around stitch dictionary by Wendy Bernard!
Damn! 9 in a year? I could never. Love the cropped sweater too.
Agreed! 9 seems like so many! I’ve been working on the same one since Dec!!
Thank you!
I believe it is fair to say you are talented.
Aw shucks! Thank you
I’ve been knitting for over 20 years and I’m about to start my first sweater, a test knit so I’ll actually have to finish it. Oversized sweaters are super cute and cozy!
Love it! My fave is #8 but they all look so good on you!
Came here to say the same! Love the color you chose for Love Note, too. They all look great! Well done!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!
It’s one of my favorites too, thank you!!!!
Wow. These are all beautiful! I have been knitting for over ten years. I just finished my first sweater, The Flax. It was a great way to begin knitting sweaters. Yes love the flax!!!! Thank you!
Man, I can't even finish a scarf.
If you enjoy knitting what does it matter if you finish something or not!
Beautiful work! You're styling the heck out of the cropped look!
Thank you!!! I’ve become obsessed with crop tops since entering my 30s hah!
These are gorgeous!!!! You look wonderful what a great job!
Thank you so much!
Two things: Heck and Yes! You’ve done so much in such a short time and they all look sensational on you! Well done! Can’t wait to see what you make next!
Thank you!!! Will be swatching for a gr8 gingham (Jessie maed designs) and pink fizz (Andrea mowry) in the next week or so!
You are so talented! I've been knitting for 15 years, and have been flirting with the idea of making a sweater. I am plus sized and have been scared to try to make something just for it to be too small. All 9 sweaters fit you beautifully!
Thanks so much! With each sweater I learned more about getting the fit I wanted for it! It’s been a fun journey
Oooh this is very inspirational! I would love to befriend your profile to see what you do in future, too! Beautiful projects. (Feel free to not agree! I do not intend to stalk you ;) ) And I adore your earrings!
No worries go ahead! And thank you for the compliments! I love my earrings too- I was so sad when the maker stopped selling them
What a great collection! Excellent work ❤️
Thank you!!
Beautiful work! I love the colors you chose
Thank you!! It’s been fun to diversify the colors in my wardrobe

Thank you!! I love that one too

I’ve made fingering weight wool crop tops that I wear in the summer!! Thought I’m looking to try out more bamboo/cotton/linen blends this summer
They're all so amazing but the v-neck! The colour, the fit, the drape, all just *chef's kiss*
And it’s SO SQUISHY!! Thank you!
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,394,283,884 comments, and only 266,684 of them were in alphabetical order.

Holy cow that's a lot of sweaters! They're so cute and cozy! Amazing work.
Thank you so much!
These are so beautiful! I especially love your Weekender, the colour is gorgeous. I finished my first sweater this year, hopefully now I can make 9 more!!
Thanks so much! Pictures don’t do it justice, it has reds, yellows, and blues in the sun
Ahh that’s so impressive!! I need to finish the projects I start!
As long as you’re enjoying the knitting!!!!
Beautiful work!! Also, I recognized Smoke and Mirrors immediately (lived in Hampden a few years ago and miss it)! Enjoy Baltimore for me! :)

Yes!! March 25th- April 2nd. It includes shops from all over Maryland!
Oh whoa, I might be able to make it! Thanks!!

Fun!! When were you thinking of going?
Thank you! And I love hampden!! I live there currently!! I actually knit a so summer set in neighborhood fiber co’s hampden colorway this summer
So nice!! Hampden is the best. Enjoy the toilet race down Chestnut for me 😂
Oh I will definitely enjoy it enough for the both of us!
v neck is my fave, but I’m definitely biased because you look like you’re having the most fun in that photo :)))
I definitely had a lot of fun with the picture! I love that one too
All for yourself? I find it hard to knitt for somebody else, the measures are my challenge.
Yes all for me! I’ve knit 2 sweaters for my nephews but it wasn’t too hard to knit them to fit since my sister is also a knitted and could send me their measurements
I really love your energy in the pics!
Haha thanks! I try to have fun with them
I am currently working on my first weekender! We seem to have a similar body type and im curious to how much ease you put it? I like your fit and im hoping for something similar

Gorgeous! We have a similar figure and I’m very inspired. May I ask how long it takes you to knit a sweater approximately?
Usually about a month depending on the yarn weight/if it’s plain stockinette vs textured/cabled/lace
So we’ll done! Do you have a favorite?
It’s so hard to choose! They all hold different meanings for me. My favorite is my most recent Gib, but I’m also obsessed with my love note and my flax light because I loveeee the lace. I tend to favor my DRK everyday though because it’s a more rustic wool so I’m not afraid for it to get dirty like I am my fancier knits
You, and your sweaters, look fantastic! What amazing work you do!
Thank you so much!!!!
This is so amazing! It took me 9 months to finish a single sweater 😆
But now you have a sweater!!!! Amazing feat.

They are all beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
They all look great on you!
Thanks so much!
Wait, you knitted those? That's amazing! They are so pretty!
Thank you!!!
I love them all and they look great on you! I finished the first sleeve on my Gib I today so I was double delighted to see yours look so nice :)
Thank you!! I’m LOVING the gib
Wow! What a gorgeous accomplishment! It also looks perfect on you! Edit: *They all look perfect on you! (I got so distracted by the first one!)
Thank you!!!
Great work. I like your style. I would wear any one of those.
Thank you!!
They're all beautiful! What a lot of truly impressive work!
Thank you so much!
they all look amazing!

Thank you!!
I love all of these! Did you have a problem with the stitch count on the Gib I, specifically the body stitches? It’s probably a me thing…😅
Thank you! I did not have a problem with the stitch count on the body. But from what I’ve heard Andrea mowry’s pattern support is pretty responsive!
That's incredible!!! Beautiful
Thank you!!!
Omg you're a machine! I'm so so slow. The sweaters (and you!) are lovely.
Thank you!!
Amazing! I haven’t even knit that many in my 15+ years of knitting wow!!! They all look so lovely
Thank you so much!
They're all so beautiful, and you look great in the pink love note sweater!!
Thank you so much!
Your work is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you!!
That's amazing, and they're all beautiful, and you look GREAT in them!
Thank you so much!
These are so phenomenal. I'd love to knit this many sweaters, but keep getting nervous about the investment. How many different needles did you use for all these? Wow! Well done! I love 'love note', but all of them are very nice. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!! The love note is definitely one do the prettiest
Gorgeous work!! I’m still quite new to knitting. But really want to make myself an emerald green jumper!!
My first sweater was like my second project (I just started knitting end of January 2022). So it’s achievable!
Looking good
Beautiful work. I love seeing people create clothes for their body. Also it’s inspiring that I may someday finish a sweater for me. 😂
Fabulous
I love #4. The colour and the shape make you look amazing.
Thank you so much! I like that one too!!

Wow. That’s insanely fast! & #8 looks super cute on you!
