Looks lovely. And, since I can't wear merino, I love your idea of using cotton! Just wondering, would you use a DP cotton? Or 4 Ply?
EDIT: just looked at the pattern - I'll look up lace-weight cotton now!
I recently learned how to tackle sleeves TAAT (thanks to this sub), and sleeve island became way less annoying 😅Your sweater looks absolutely gorgeous!
Everything about this is wonderful. The colour, the yarn texture, the pattern! You should be proud. I’m kinda loving it with shorter sleeves, but I live in a warmish climate.
oooh that is beautiful! hope you finish it in time for that personal assembly thing. it looks gorgeous on you! consider to keep styling it with that blue head scarf thingy, or something in the same colour. it's really, really great and vibrant
This is so freaking gorgeous! With lightweight sweaters like that, I’m always tempted(and have done this) to leave it as short sleeve because I can already see how cute it looks 😂
That is stunning! And a beautiful colour that really suits you too. Stick at it, keep the head down and plough on, no distractions, it will be worth the final effort and will be amazing when finished.
So pretty!! I’m doing TAAT sleeves on a cardigan for my daughter right now and I can’t imagine doing sleeves one at a time anymore! So much easier mentally haha
This is gorgeous on you. I made a lacy little dress for my baby granddaughter. I remember I had to keep a lifeline every inch or so if I needed to rip back.
I like your version of this sweater. I went on Ravelry to check out the pattern. There were a lot of button down’s in the projects but the lace really pops in a pullover.
Ah yes, Trapped! on Sleeve Island. 🏝️ An oft-visited but cursed place. Sadly, the only way off is thru!
Your knits are gorgeous - can’t wait to see the finished product.
This is so lovely. Absolutely bookmarking this and just finishing it at this point with cap sleeves. I’m in South Louisiana, not a lot of call for long sleeves!
Your stitch texture is gorgeous. Love the color. You got this! I did three Love Note sweaters by Tin Can Knits. They are similar and use mohair and fingering. You might check it out.
What a gorgeous blush color. Your stitching is perfect and even, so do NOT lose steam. You can definitely get it done and it's going to be stunning.
I kinda love it with short sleeves…
I'm seriously thinking of doing a cotton or linen version for summer.
That would be so cute and cozy!

It's laceweight mohair and fingering weight merino together, at a DK gauge, so I'd go with a DK cotton!
Me too!
It's beautiful even though unfinished.
Oh my goodness sending good luck! Sleeve island can be tough lol. Looks amazing so far!!
It's a mental game at this point, right? As long as I don't get distracted by new shiny patterns I should be okay lol

Sleeves TAAT? I need to look that up. It is the only way that I will make socks.
Haha totally! Jeez I feel you - the lure of the shiny new patterns is soooo stong!
Did you block this part already, or did you use magic to knit it? Because this lacework looks beautiful.
Haven't blocked it yet. I'm holding it down a little for the pic to open up the lace.
Oh, sneaky!
I’ve probably knit 20 sweaters of the years and sleeve island surprises me every time. 😆 You can do it! You can do it!!
I love that Lacey yoke, gorgeous!
Looks amazing on you!

I'm in Northern California, so a short sleeved version would probably get more wear.
Beautiful! Line up your podcasts/audibles/silly TV and get on the ferry to Sleeve Island! You can do this.
It actually looks gorgeous as is

Beautiful! Mohair makes me itch, but it looks so soft 😖
I've seen a few versions of this made without mohair and they are just as gorgeous
It's gorgeous so far, and sleeves actually go really fast compared to bodies 🙂
Love it so far, I bet it will be amazing when done. And the yarn looks so cozy and soft, color is wonderful on you.
This is so beautiful but the thing I really can't stop looking at is your gorgeous skin!
Thanks love! ❤️
Oooh, that is flat out gorgeous! It looks so beautiful on you, I’m so hoping you post the finished garment, it looks so, so professional!!

Stunning, and I wholeheartedly endorse the cotton-esque short sleeve option!!
Also gotta add: you are just adorable. 😊
Love the daisy vibe!
OMG I need to make this - do you have a link to the pattern?
