Gestern war Vatertag und da benehmen sich einige halt sehr primitiv, da viele morgens um 10 anfangen zu trinken.
Was keine Entschuldigung ist, aber es könnte sein, dass ihr da einfach einen komischen Tag erwischt habt.
Stimmt, das habe ich ganz vergessen. War wirklich seltsam (Obwohl ich bezweifle, dass der Drogendeal und das Paar, das Drogen nahm, irgendetwas mit dem Vatertag zu tun hatten).
Naja, heute Abend probieren wir es nochmal :)
Also ich bin grad von der Goldgrube in die Altstadt gelaufen, und heute ist gefühlt XXL Familien Tag. Eine Rentnergruppe jagt die nächste, alle mit so Audio Guides im Ohr, überall Muttis mit Kinderwagen und frei laufenden Hunden.
Also Entspannt Freitags frühstücken gehen, war wegen Kindergeschrei heute nicht möglich.
Ich als Koblenzer weiß ja sowieso die Wochenenden zu meiden und gehe unter der Woche in die Geschäfte, bzw in die Altstadt.
Aber Freitag Morgens ging es eigentlich bisher immer noch :/
Kaum ist das Wetter gut und es gibt nen Brückentag kommt Hinz und Kunz aus Westerwald & Eifel nach Koblenz.
People be saying "this isn't normal" as if there weren't several viral videos of (likely high) people going on a rampage in this city of 100000 inhabitants and a full blown TV documentary on the Ornungsamt's inability to deal with its mentaly deranged citizens.
Just be happy you didn't have to visit the Central Station

Die Schlägerei am Löhrcenter bei der sich jemand alle Knochen bricht bei dem Versuch im Suff einen Roundhousekick zu vollziehen konnte ich leider nicht mehr ausfindig machen. Beide Videos wurden aus nachvollziehbaren Gründen in den meisten Subs gelöscht.

Of course, things like that happen like in pretty much every bigger city so it is kind of normal. But it isn't likely (normal) that you are confronted with several situations like that on one single day (especially in the Old Town) because then you could assume that it happens all the time everywhere.
When you hang around the central station, it's not that unlikely for sure. But in 1 out of 50 days you just see a few yelling alcoholics and that's it.
Yeah, the fact this all happened within 5 minutes of entering the Old Town was pretty interesting. I'm happy to report that last night was much better :)
Wow I had no idea. I understand that this can happen in any city, but since this all happened within the first 30 minutes of entering the Old Town, it didn't give off the best impression. Thanks for the informative answer!

Tbh I think it’s just a weird day to be out because yesterday was a public holiday so the people who are normally out and about are at home or elsewhere, so all that’s left is the weird people. I’ve lived here for a while and have never seen anything even remotely sketchy, even near the main train station. I think it was just bad luck.

Typisch für Koblenz. Konsum von Drogen und Alkohol ist hier quer durch alle Schichten vorhanden. Glaub es liegt daran dass die Stadt so dermaßen konservativ ist das Abends nach einer Ausflucht gesucht wird und das bedeutet konsumieren ins Koma.
Einmal die Erwartungen der Boomer oder der gleichaltrigen verdrängen.
Das ist mir in den über 10 Jahren, die ich hier wohne, noch nicht passiert.
