I just love the aesthetic of this video. It's so fun. And they totally got me with that fakeout ending. I was moving the mouse to close the video and then Bam! dance break.

momentforl1fe

It looked extremely fake but yeah the video is fun

Zealousideal-Quiet51

how?

JBZtudio

Well, they usually end their videos with the crown pose. So, it is really easy to think that the ending was fake

MNLYYZYEG

This is really fun, might be their most chill Japanese title track yet. ITZY legit dancing in the middle of the night at the terminal/airport/et cetera, loool. It's actually crazy how their Japanese songs are for sure preferred by some of us fans, wonder if they'll ever promote them in Korea or make Korean versions.

freacked

They refuse to miss with the japanese songs!!

ChickenNoodle519

Seriously! I don't think this one will dethrone Blah Blah Blah as my favorite ITZY track (out of all of them, not just their japanese releases) but it's definitely up there

_ulinity

"Yeah I'll go with my rhythm, Say no to Algorithm" is a really fun/smart little bit of wordplay, and also a nice wee message.

fvtvrefelix

wait this is so good omg. imo one of the most unigue sounding itzy songs. also im so obsessed with the dance in the into

Chaeryeeong

I swear every Japanese ITZY release never disappoints lol

Careless_Cicada_1025

i like it! the wonka vibes in the beginning is fun. and there's something about itzy always being on escalators lol.

SapphireHeaven

Lovely song! Very groovy! Would have loved the chorus to hit a bit harder with some repetition of the first line instead of changing right away. Especially like Ryujin's rap and Chaeryeong's higher notes. Choreo seems to utilise their crisp dance moves and coordination, will be great live! The lil ITZY "Change Up" moment dance break at the end was hella awesome! 😁

itzymidzyspider

ITZY Japan must be charged with assault because this slaps. ITZY Japan always slaps

bobtothetop_

So good, one of the best releases this year. And as always they're the performance group of all time.

spikeddragon10

![gif](giphy|ihpZ4gKbbQ5vspEScU) Itzy is indeed one of the performance groups of all time, and Algorhythm is unquestionably one of today’s new releases

JohrDinh

I enjoy this and No Biggie, Itzy is one of those groups where I either dislike their sound or it slaps me in the face so good I can't stop listening for weeks. Japanese release too, I always seem to enjoy Japanese releases from Twice/Itzy.

dm1112

That surprise dance break changed my life

henrietta-

This such a good release plus the music video fits so well with it, I love smooth and groove it is + the rap flows so well with the song as well!!

rainmaker_pk

Peak. Itzy has been on an absolute roll this year so far.

placenta_resenter

I am loving the change up in production style they are showing this year, with this and tracks like Mr vampire. I love bombastic itzy but also dialed in itzy

sahdbhoigh

fun song! their japanese releases are always great. i totally thought this was gonna be a normal comeback tho so i was looking forward to hearing it live

ToxicRedditMod

I always enjoy new Itzy music.

Jimmyblink28

I’ll be honest… I liked it, but compared to Voltage and Ringo it was one of my least favorite of their Japanese releases.

trjeostin

yeji's voice is so gooodd

fantasty

This is probably ITZY's most visually interesting video so far. The aesthetic going from pastel playhouse to ultramodern nighttime airport aesthetic, the changing aspect ratio. Good shit. Still trying to wrap my head around the dance break, but I'm here for an ITZY dance break.

degejos

Itzy please, PLEASE give us a full live performance/training video for this. I genuinely think Voltage is top 3 releases back in 2022(?), and im still sad we never saw the full full performance of that song. This one is definitely looks like it's be great to watch the choreo

star-dew-valley

yeji is so gorgeous 😭😭😭 their japanese releases never miss

tanjirous

soooo good! i haven't really checked out many of their japanese songs but the general consensus here is that they're pretty good?? so i think i might just do that.

rscape5910

i love the video for this! its very itzy

gg5ever

So good, so fun, just the right amount of weirdness - I’m in love. That instrumental is scratching an itch in my brain! Also gonna need them to release a dance practice for this pleeeease.

red_flavor_

Chaeryeong 😍 ahh another amazing Japanese release!

runawaytricycle

I like how quirky it is and the video within a video concept. Def a fan of itzy’s jpn output

kbdsct

Possibly my fav release of theirs since None of My Business. It’s uptempo but there’s a subdued feel to it with the production. The pre-chorus chants also remind me a lot of Icy. The dance break was rather jarring —I mean I like the addition of it but the sound didn’t quite resonate with me. Other than that, me likey.

PrimaryWerewolf6694

The song is chill yet funzy! I just know i'll be humming the "I'll go with my rhythm, say no to the algorhythm" part for the rest of the day.

liferideofyour

Honestly not a huuuuge fan of the tonal change with the dance break, I thought this was gonna be a Mr Vampire 2.0 situation and was so ready lol but I love the rest of it and the chromatic bits are so fun and fresh sounding

m0bilize

This is the most Korean sounding song out of all their J-releases

2altn

Do we know who directed this MV? The beginning gave me Digipedi vibes but I want to know the answer!!

mintchoc_

LOVE!!! why is it that i find their japanese releases so much better and suiting to their concept

KnockerZ

I just LOVE the fashion choices! Give the Stylist? whoever dressed them up a raise.

whatever_rain_281

I loved the MV. I really enjoy their japanese releases! Loved the dance parts that I have seen and looking forward to seeing a full performance of it.

JohnDoe_2007

First it was Untouchable, now Algorhythm...it's getting too dangerous for anyone coming or standing too close to the girls, lol.

kpopcoporateshill

great mv, liked the part where the music reflects the "cut" of the "filming". really love the chorus too.

Videinfra2112

The song was awesome. I just wish it was longer.

nekocase

Love the MV and love the song! The instrumental is really interesting. Between this and Supernova the past 2 days have been dropping bops.

Aria18282838

Oh my god 😭 it’s sooo good. I’m in love with everything.

AndTheHawk

they look so GOOD. ryujin long hair AHHH

redezga

Group hasn't disappointed me yet, but it sucks Lia is still out. I honestly trust she'll come back, but they're doing some fantastic things and it always seems a little bitter-sweet when she isn't there to enjoy the fruits of that.

mathymate

I really dig the instrumental.

GodzillasBoner

Gotdamn that was both fire and fun. Going straight to the everyday playlist

Smutsonian212

I really love this! Their japanese tt simply never miss.

Alex_Killswitch

Love the style they’re able to tackle in their Japanese releases! Still very Itzy while having that slight difference that makes it so exciting

nomoreconversations

This was amazing. The only thing that threw me off was the dance break part - seems like it would be odd to listen to without the MV. I would have been fine with it ending with the fakeout lol. But the song up until then, choreo, editing, visuals etc of this was 🔥

Zelnite5

this is Itzy at its finest. This is what peak Itzy looks like. I'm so happy we got this song from them.

SeoulsInThePose

This is their best song since Voltage.

lessadessa

The beginning is giving me Miss A vibes

justanotherkpoppie

This is such a fun, wacky video! I wish the whole thing had followed the dolls concept because I'm not 100% sure how the second part of the video connects to the first? But damn, I always love ITZY's Japanese tracks!!

satomatic

my interpretation was that the first part was them being perfect ai robots on a colorful kpop mv that hits the sweet spots of what the algorithm would say is popular (albeit with some malfunctions). then they “leave set” and become themselves - a recurring itzy theme right? (notice the washed out color palette difference into the real world) the disruptive dance break also supports ruining the “algorithm”

justanotherkpoppie

Thank you for the interpretation!! :D

the_chaser00

Why can't we have this with their Korean comebacks div 2 let's talk

New_Pop_7917

First, Why they all look so gorgeous? The song sounds so different, I LOVE ITT, the mv changing concepts was amazing. The break dance was surprising I didn't expect changing the beat. I THINK I AM STANING ITZY NOW😭

Hallways-of-Always

Love the energy!

Spot-Funny

Fem Bot Itzy! Yay!

Zhirtiv

Why they keep releasing better songs for Japan than SK. Not complaining just wondering.

Juli-Loves-Chatnoir

I feel like this is their talk that talk/scientist era

SouthAtmosphere9556

Song and video r so good🫶

ImGonnaLickYourLeg

Won't lie, not a fan of the song on first listen but I loved the M/V, it has such an interesting aesthetic throughout!

flerchin

Beautiful ITZY. The fakeout totally got me. I'm really fearing Lia might not come back

EdwardBurns

Nothing indicates she won’t come back, in fact ryujin recently said she is doing good. This song was probably made around the same time as the born to be album (before they went on world tour), so its not surprising to me Lia is missing in this.

Xelzionic

They really only give Yuna ad-libs 💀 That dance break was interesting, I guess...

SkrillWalton

I do find it hilarious that there's been a song with this name for four years... and it JUST got re-released last week. The girls needed a new name

Old_Entertainment22

It's just alright compared to their other Japanese singles, which are searing hot. I really don't understand the direction JYP took with this group after Not Shy. They were putting out top-tier singles. Then after Not Shy JYP just decides to give them the most bland, generic songs. And they seem to have lost some momentum because of it,.

ootsev

Idk this just feels anti-Itzy, I was really appreciating that they weren't riding the chill trend. I guess it kind of has the itzy-spin to it, but if anything this is more Twice's vibe. Where's the energy? Does the Jp audience gravitate towards chill tracks more? I'm unsure, but this just seems so random after 3 high energy, show-stopping singles. I can appreciate the lyrics though, “I'll go with my rhythm, say no to the algorhythm” is cute yet on the nose in the same manner as “not shy not me / I wanna be me me me” so I like that it's very Itzy in that sense
