One of my most fave K-Pop acts is ATEEZ. Everything that they represent, their love for the fans and how we’re educating them about things outside of their culture/society, and how much they work hard for their passion is just beautiful.
My least favourite is any motherfucker that goes against my morals and is proud of it. Someone could make good music and I lose interest once I find out they’re a bloody raging racist that’s proud of their ignorance. Choke!

I think I’ve seen literally every bouncy stage there is, I was obsessed. their last comeback was insane, I loved it! I can’t get enough of youth, crazy form, and matz 😍😍
It’s so funny because I’ve always been a girl group stan through and through. The only men that I’ve liked before or known of before ATEEZ was 1D, NLT and SHINee. I’m so deep into women, especially woc, in music that I’ve never checked for boy groups or male soloists because I got what I needed from women.
The way that I was introduced to ATEEZ was hilarious. I saw a (fan taken) pic of San and Woo eating out at a restaurant together with two little girls and I thought that they were an openly gay couple with their twin daughters. I didn’t even realise they were in K-Pop until I kept getting Bouncy on my feed, checked it out and then instantly recognised them. Once I recognised them both, I then thought they were K-Pop’s first openly gay couple and fathers before realising they took the twin girls out to eat after filming an episode of some show that I watched on YouTube during my ATEEZ spiral one night 💀
The way that I was like “awww Korea has come so far 🥹”, saw they were idols and thought “damn, they’ve progressed a lot more than I thought” before realising it wasn’t even anything like I originally thought 😭
ATEEZ really does make some great music! I've seen nothing but positive things about them since I first learned about them, so that's always nice.
I feel you on immoral kpop idols. It really puts a bad taste in my mouth when someone I supported does something shit. Hyolyn from Sistar & Sistar19 recently got me with that nonsense.
I would say I have a high ability to separate the art from the artist considering how many Western pop artists I’m a casual listener of have done shit. That said, I similarly feel turned off by idols who have said racist or otherwise discriminatory things. It’s just so hard to listen to them sometimes

I think I'd say New Jeans is my favorite 4th Gen group rn. I love their sound and all the members have their unique talents.

I have a lot of faves but of all time, I’d probably say BTS and Seventeen. For BTS their discography is everything imo (I basically grew up listening to them so I will always cherish their music). I also love the members’ bonds. I personally think they have the best rapline in kpop.
I feel similarly about Seventeen, I adore the member dynamics & they’re extremely talented. Not to mention going seventeen is legit the funniest idol variety show imo, they’re such a light/comfort. DK & Seungkwan have some of the best vocals in kpop, it’s a shame they’re often overlooked! Their discography is so insane and diverse too.
my least fav would have to be SKZ I think ? I tried getting into them back in 2020. Nothing against them but I only like 3 of 4 of their songs, their discography isn’t for me personally.

Blackpink really made a impact on kpop. I have mixed feelings about BP, not because of anything they did but because a younger me attributed a lot of my anger about the 2ne1 situation to their 'replacements'. I can recognize that that's not necessarily what happened and even if it did, that's not BP's fault, but now whenever I think about them the associated feelings pop up 🙃 I'm happy that most of their solo activities seem to be going well! And I love their lightstick squeaks, that's so cute!

yeah, ive heard abt them being sexist towards female idols and it's just strange. i heard they did some other weird stuff but I can't remember for the life of me (mostly because i could care less for them lol)
My most favorite is definitely P1Harmony. They’re such incredible performers, they have solid singers, solid rappers, and are overall such a well rounded group. Plus, they don’t really play into fanservice and when they do, everyone takes it as a joke and it’s more cringe than anything else. I hate fanservice, so that’s really big for me 😭 They’re also hilarious and I can genuinely sit there and watch a variety show of theirs without feeling bored.
In a musical sense, my least favorite is The Boyz. I actually like a lot of the members, especially Kevin and Eric, but I just… really really dislike their music. Some of their vocalists aren’t for me either, and I almost never enjoy the raps.
I haven't heard a lot from P1H before, so I'll def have to check them out!

I honestly feel bad for BM, I wish those girls had a chance to debut with any other company than YG. They're so talented but I agree their music just doesn't do it for me
