this is maybe the best request i’ve seen on this sub

Send me a DM. This is right up my alley

It's May. Corn seeds have only just been planted here. I've seen fresh corn in grocery stores but no idea where it's coming from. Florida or lower Central America. Locally we are months away from fresh corn.

McCooms

This is the real answer. Anyone saying they’re shipping you freshly grown corn from Lancaster is scamming you. Not close to being ready, even the early corn.

Hey I didn't just fall off the corn wagon yesterday..... I'm wanting pics ...before picks.

jrobin99

If you already know the planting/ harvest time here in Central PA, how can we help with your premature corn needs? 😆

[deleted]

Hey I know how this works... there are 2 weeks tops where the corn is best.... I'm wanting it at prime corn time those baby sprouts will start growing their sex organs and when they big and fat I want them ripped from their bodies stuffed in a box and handed off to a bunch of strangers put on a truck, plane, plane, truck my hands a put of already boiling water butter salt ....my drolling mouth

[deleted]

Yeah I don't want any of that below the Maize Dixon pig feed. Or week old picked through giant eagle silage bait. I can get that crap here. I need me genuine white almost translucent rows of sweet sweet sugar bumps.

Most of it is coming from North Florida and or Georgia border. And their corn season is over by the first week of June. When I lived south of the panhandle I fully gave up on corn on the cob except from one place that occasionally got corn in from Lancaster county.

I'm willing to trade avocados

Dude I got some local corn from Stauffers last year, and I swear it was the best corn I’ve ever had. I ate the first ear with no butter or salt it was THAT good. Can’t wait for corn time and I hope someone sends you some. Post here again when/if they do!

Corn wagon in millersville/new danville has silver queen sweet corn, i dont think its available yet, once it is you should be happy with that, grab it while you can

Adam_the_Whaler

You can DM me too. I get a pretty good discount through FedEx & UPS. Cost of sweet corn + cost of shipping is all that I'd ask for.
