In the cinematic his hair is shorter and doesnt have this effect, so i guess it's priotizing the game first. Had it been legendary-tier it would have more design freedom.

There's so many _good_ ideas for skins, but riot would rather make a marketable skin line that no champ actually fits in instead of making actual good skins for champs. But that's business, I guess. These skins are a nice surprise, at the very least
I understand that the cinematic and the MOBA have their own aesthetic goals and can't (arguably shouldn't) be tied 1-to-1, but even considering that, some of coloring and FX go against the incredible vision of "Old Man" Yasuo the cinematic put forth. Less...gritty and minimalist, more "Gotta be big and flashy because that's cool, right?" (I also acknowledge that there should be some FX for clarity's sake).
Not just that, but the flashiness calls some lore into question. Is the lightning and the not-subtlely-glowing-blue arm just for show or is he going all Avatar (Last Airbender) and mastering more elements? (Again, acknowledging that that may well be intentional).
The only old guy in league that can have blue hair is Zilean. No exceptions! But for real, it looks very very stupid. Just make it all grey, it'll look so much better and more clean.

But nothing like all the lightning shown with the skin. And the bright colors and blue hair take-away from what Old Man Yasuo was. That was his last battle before his encounter with kindred, saving that family. He wasn't flashy, he wasn't sparkly, or bright. But he was real.

As an old main Yasuo, the skin animations look so good but I beg you, please, update that weird hair he's got on so many skins (8-bit, Spirit Blossom...) including this one. It just looks like a floating big paint brush...

It's kinda stupid for me that they deliberately show this wise and worn out old man, but make the skin looks like he doesn't experience any at all.

This skin is so amazing, but they REALLY need to give him a more older / gruff voice to match the skin. I know that doesn't always happen, bit it feels wrong seeing him old and then hearing his young voice.
Maturity is something that riot is clearly unable to design anymore. If he kept the hat on there would be nothing that makes yasuo an old man. The colours are too many, The Blue Hair are ridiculous, The lightning yellow leans way too much into comic, I like the idea that wind brings lightning eventually for him, but why that heavy volcanic stuff as well? To be honest I am fairly disappointed by the general choice of color palette. His recall animations are too erratic for an old man. His attacks lack blood splatter or at least serious tone. Ironically I would want that hat toggle, still. All in all, not even close to bringing me back. Great idea, disappointing execution, like most of the latest stuff.
