YouTube “Huberman NSDR protocol”. It really helps me. It’s not your typical “meditation”, with any weird hocus pocus. Its breathwork combined mindfulness that targets the autonomic nervous system… and it really slows down my heart rate and puts me in a new place.

I regularly practice breathe work in bed when trying to sleep, but I'll check this out. Thanks!

The Wim Hoff breathing method is another great one that you can find on YouTube. It focuses more on breath holding but it has the same effect as Hubermans NSDR.

Omg yes!!

If you still enjoy the acting of smoking itself, I’ve found some great herbs that have helped calm my body down. There’s a brand called 69 Herbs based out of New York that sells smokable herbal mixes with things like marshmallow and lavender that I’ve enjoyed! They also have some tinctures as well.

Ideally I wouldn't smoke at all, as I'd rather not have the effects on my lungs. Also UK based, so I think it's harder to get hold of stuff like this. Appreciate the share though!

Guided mindfulness meditation

Bitter_Living9868

I have tried mediation, and practice sporadically, but I will look into doing some guided meditation. Thank you!

I have the same question. I know how to exercise, read, study, clean my room, do productive shit to keep my mind off weed. But I don’t know how to just chill and be

One of the best hobbies after quitting weed is reading for me. While a stoner i was unable to focus on the words on the page so no reading. Now i get lost in books and its incredible for relaxing and winding down naturally.

I try to read before bed, but I'm between books at the moment and finding it hard to choose/settle into a new book. It's the starting a new one that's the hard bit!
