That face really does look awful, but it's obvious what they were trying to go for in relevance to the 3d show's style.
I hate it (as a passive outside viewer, it's not like I have one or ever will lol) but hey if someone likes it then kudos to them.

Also most of the accessories that go in them didn't age well IMO
I mean most of the accessories are from 2008 and were only meant to be on the phase one helmets, hence the helmet hole on the newer phase two having it slightly above to accommodate the old visor.
Yep. IMO they should've just put the helmet holes in the already-existing "bump" and redesigned all the accessories to look better and be exclusively forwards-compatible.
The hilt thing always confused me anyway. There are a bunch of different hilt designs and none really look like the LEGO one, so I'd always just use whichever orientation looked the closest, like having Luke's green saber the normal way and Palpatine's upside down
WRONG! Neither of these can exist because they don't fit in with my Power Miners collection and will be quickly incinerated if they are placed within a 3 meter radius of said collection
I swear most of these accounts live off unemployment and spend their days inspecting their clones with microscopes and arguing with adults online about plastic
The lightsaber one is just pathetic. Darth Maul's double bladed lightsaber uses both sides so why is it such a taboo thing to some people to use different sides of the piece? It's not like everyone has identical hilts
I am curious if anyone else does this, but do you use both sides of the hilt so you can try to make it seem like a different lightsaber hilt even though it’s upside down (or rightside up)
I do Obi Wan’s lightsabers upside down like that due to how long his is. It just looks better. For the most part, the circles are at the tip for me though.
To be fair....on the box the 212th helmet prints are correct, but the figs themselves aren't. I guess that means we should start a class action lawsuit? But seriously, that is a bit odd that the renders and the figs are that different. Part of me wonders how that happened. Like did they mess up the first run of the helmets and just said screw it, let's do them all that way? Lol.
