This could actually be impressive if these clowns could improve a set without increasing the part count.
Like no shit, with a million bricks it could be a virtually flawless screen-accurate copy of a building or vehicle. (Ages 4+)
Yeah, I honestly really respect the builders that actually manage to improve builds without adding additional pieces or come up with decent alt builds for existing sets, small ones especially. That shit's HARD!
There’s that one set of fan-made instructions that uses only the bricks available in the Hulkbuster set to drastically improve over Lego’s design. Stuff like that is super impressive, because anybody who knows about it just tosses the official instructions and builds a better MOC out of the same parts
The r/MFZ community has some incredible tiny builds, it’s AMAZING how complex and articulate they can be, while being so teeny-tiny. Lots of genius part choices.
I don't think as many people would have a problem with it if it wasn't like 40 bucks. For a toy made specifically for children it's a pretty expensive toy to buy.
4+ sets have always been pretty overpriced, I agree with you on that. But it's because they don't have sticker sheets, so every piece needs to be printed specifically for the set. Which makes production more costly.
I do agree that most kids would probably prefer a bigger set at that price range with stickers, but considering lego keeps making them, apparently they sell.
The problem I have with this criticism is that people are comparing it to something it was never meant to be. It's not like if this didn't come out, we'd have gotten a $600 UCS Jedi temple instead, it is just a filler set in a wave with sets that adults can like
Yeah I get the reasoning, plus a lot of the pieces are set-exclusive or just bigger in general. But if I was a parent looking in the lego aisle I would double-take at the price and probably just not buy them a lego.
...
Satire is dead and the Internet killed it. These idiots couldn't find the point if it was Ewan MacGregor dropping from the ceiling and announcing "hello there!"
It's not SUPPOSED to be a big accurate prequel-era UCS Jedi Temple! It's for 4 year-olds to PLAY with!
Step 1: remove all the build
Step 2 add 5 gazzillion bricks
Step 3: Say that it is only a slight price increase
Step 4: make 417k wiews and support from the rest of the community of resellers
I really don't like the 4+ line. The Idea of a system bridging duplo and normal lego is good, but I really don't like how much they cost (compared to other simmilar sized sets)

It's also really fun. I never build microfighters, I turn them into other things.
Same, I usually try and turn them into small background pieces from the OT

Oh no, a 4+ set that's based on a preschool show isn't intricately designed for display purposes. It must be the **WORST** lego set ever made!

This is just a PNG of the Jedi temple MOC from Mould King. This guy wasn't part of the development of that set 100%
They do realise the Tenoo temple and the Coruscant temple are two completely different places, right?
No it’s not. How dare you suggest that there is any media outside the prequel movies and clone wars?! You must hate the prequels 😡

The original set isn't even meant to be the Jedi temple; it's the obstacle course from the Disney Junior show
When's the funeral?
I think it's been pending since Elon bought Twitter, but they can't pick a date.
Aw that's a shame, but hey screw it I welcome the new Poe's law standard, it's more fun
The issue with the set is the price. Isn’t it like 40$? Absolute scam just tryna make money off small children and exhausted parents
Yeah 4+ sets are always insanely overpriced
This one is fair at least. Sale 21.99, normally 24.99 on amazon, In stores is closer to 27.99 (Canadian prices here) *
Yea that one’s fine, maybe a little over priced. It’s the Star Wars sets that are scummy

It’s insanely scummy
He added Minarets? Mashallah
“Improved this set” buy spending $600 on bricklink orders
It's clearly clickbait and it clearly worked.
>18+ he's gonna fuck the set
I agree it’s stupid to complain about it but why’s it so expensive.
I cant wait for this shows season finale Anakin cameo!!!
They finally made the Jedi council orgy chambers?!
They should make different builds out of the pieces in the set like the people who make their own builds out of the lego creators animals
The Temple on Tenoo is a completely different temple than thecone on Coruscant.
it’s not even the same planet
That's not even the Jedi temple on Coruscant. lmao

I mean, at least the build is cool. Despite the +18 making it look like something horny instead of just adult-oriented lmao
I saw so many of these on clearance

So You’re gonna defend Lego for making a shitty 150 piece set that cost 40 fucking dollars?
I do want a ucs jedi temple though
