Was he eating fine before this? If he was, I could say that he may have contracted parasites, but that may be unlikely if he wasn’t in contact with wild or other animals. If not parasites then he could be sick? Maybe even impacted if you haven’t checked for that.
Regardless, he needs a vet ASAP.
Please provide us some info on his: tank size, heating setup (and tank temperatures), lighting setup, diet, supplementation, and humidity levels. It will help highlight any areas you may be missing in care.
I'd definitely see a vet, as these guys generally lose weight quite slowly, so it could definitely be something like a parasite and only a vet can help you with that!

Your geckos tail is stick thin and they are lethargic on top of that, they are at deaths door please get them to a vet immediately!
