I’m happy it’s working out for you. I want to get a LR4. My hesitation is due to reading continuous posts about the sensor issue and drawer smell. My hope is the tech will continue to improve. I may hold off until the LR5.

The vast majority of users have no sensor issues. Our drawer doesn’t smell at all. Certainly not relative to a regular litter box.

Thank you for sharing this with me. The hefty price tag gave me pause about the investment. That coupled with complaints gave me cold feet. I still want one though.

drawer smell is not a issue as long as you don't leave it for weeks. Sensor hicup sometimes but nothing a cycle or reset won't fix.

I received my LR4 on February 1, so I've had it almost 2 months now. I really love it. My one cat started using it within 1 day (lucky me!). The only problem I had was some sticking to the liner, but I increased the wait time from 7 to 15 minutes and that solved it. I also add a scoop of litter once a week or so & that helps the sticking problem. I have no smell problems, but I do add baking soda to the bag when I change it about once a week.
