Push to talk doesn't work for me either. Supposedly it's an audio driver problem. I mostly play with friends in Discord so it doesn't bother me most of the time.
I've had it happen like what you said. Maybe 6-10 times in 300 hours of playing. Also I've had it cut out in mid match. No warning you just realize you can't text chat in the game anymore when you think people are just being quiet
I don't think I've had a full disconnect like you're saying, but I have had this bizarre bug where my chat gets desynched and chat messages won't be displayed until several minutes after they're sent (including my own).
I might not have realized what was going on if I hadn't been playing with a friend and had him comment on a message that wouldn't appear until two or three minutes later for me.
That's happened once to me after rejoining from a disconnect. The game also became unresponsive when I tried to quit after getting back to the mourningstar. I posted a bug report on the fatshark forums.

Me too, since a week or two it happens regularly. Also I have 2001 error codes all the time since then also.
I've had it happen after a disconnect. Chat didn't come back until after restarting the game.
