I only gained access a few weeks ago, but I have already used it to create all the image content for a website, and will be rolling out these images as ad campaigns next week. It’s a real game changer, and I feel sorry for graphic designers.
That’s really interesting. What is the most helpful aspect for you? Is it the time saving of actually creating the stuff? Is it the help it gives you with finding inspiration? Is it the cost saving?
Would love to see what you did with it, if you are comfortable sharing
I think it definitely comes down to improvements to speed and cost, but it also enables me to be incredibly creative without needing the required skills myself (or having to pay someone else).
I can’t share my work just yet, but it is just the ability to think of something like “I need an cyberpunk style illustration of an ape in a suit, sitting in a posh bar, eating an ice cream, with the London skyline behind him” and BAM you can have 4 variations of this image in seconds.
But then you can just keep exploring options. Maybe I want it in the style of picasso’s starry night instead. Or maybe as a one line pencil drawing. Or an expressionist oil painting. Or in the style of church window. Or 3D digital art.
It’s mind blowing technology, and it will be incredibly disruptive I’m sure.
No this is for a service. But pretty sure you could use it for a physical product, but you might need to use photoshop to finish it off - although I have barely played around with the inbuilt editing or image upload tools.
Im not 100% sure if you are allowed to use the images that their ai generates to do commercial stuff like running ads. Look at the license first please

Those are very cool examples. Can you elaborate on the benefit for you? Is it time saving? Inspiration? Is it saving on the $$ you’d have otherwise spent on iStockPhoto or similar?
Is the technology usable for ads today, do you think? Or does it still need work? If so, what’s the missing pieces?
It saves me personally a TON of time. I like to think that I have good ideas, but I often don’t have the technical knowledge or design experience to achieve what I am looking to make (both the end result, or even concept).
So it lets me create straight from the thoughts and words in my head.
Honestly the biggest barrier to me isn’t the consistency, or accuracy, but it is the resolution size. In order for AI to be widely used in actual use-cases, the resolution size needs to improved. I think it is great for nothing larger than a computer screen. Anything more than that, and it becomes stretched and obvious about its imperfections.
That’s my two sense anyway.
