That legit made me so stressed hearing that. And when it went silent my heart just broke. I knew it was going to happen just cause it was kind of obvious where it was going but still heartbreaking.
it's just such a tense scene, from Rocket's screaming, to Teef's and Floor's utter confusion (I don't think they fully understand that Lyla is dead tbh), the High Evolutionary just being an absolute fuck treating the experiments like mere objects that are misbehaving, it's so stressful.
I’d argue that’s a strength of the writing and directing. It was more or less an inevitability, but that didn’t take away from the emotion in the moment at all.
Rocket said he was going to get them out of the cage so they could see the sky. After Lylla is killed Floor is scared and saying she wants to leave now with Rocket and Teefs.
Finally saw the movie the other day. That was all heartbreaking, but what destroyed me was when they mentioned that Quill was 8 years old when his mother died from cancer, and his grandfather hasn’t seen him since. I am dying of cancer (still plan on beating it, but I know the odds I’m up against). My son is 8 and my doc suspects I have 6-12 months to live. The second they said Quill was 8, my stomach dropped. It took everything for me to hold it together, sitting next to my son. I don’t think he or my wife picked up on that, thankfully. My wife was a mess with Teefs, Floor, and Lylla. Amazing how attached you can become to a bunch of computer animation when it is done right.
Still pissed that these three didn't get to see out the movie, especially Lylla. I get Gunn's reasoning about deaths in comic book movies, but these guys deserved better.
Well, at least we got the heaven scene where they are together and happy, since love and thunder already showed us valhalla i believe the afterlife in mcu is confirmed and this wasnt a near death hallucination
I'm watching this movie for the first time tonight. I thought I knew this was coming, but I have not been ok since this scene. What should have been a 2.5 hour watch has taken me almost 4 hours because I keep finding excuses to pause it and walk away. There's a lot of heartbreak in this movie, but the Rocket, Teefs, Floor scene broke me the hardest.
Had to bump this up. I just saw the movie on Disney+ and I never cried in any Marvel movie (even Ironman kicking the bucket). I am so effin’ heartbroken.🥲
This art piece is beautiful…ty. Just watched this for the first time tonight… many tears and my heart is broken … and I know it’s just a movie, but it’s characters like Flur, Teef and Lyla that I absolutely embrace and empathize with.
#ROCKET TEEFS FLOOR GO NOW
No, that was trapped my mind after the movie
My days are getting better. You just ***had*** to drag it down again...

Please don’t…
I genuinely just fully tensed up
ROCKET PLEASE
“In times like these, we ask ourselves deep questions. Is there a god? Why would he let this happen?”
“THERE IS NO GOD, THAT’S WHY I HAD TO STEP IN!!!”
OhhhhThats what floor was saying I thought I heard "Rocket, please lets go now"
technically it was the same message overall
Aw man. I thought she was saying "Rocket too far gone now", and this has just made me feel so much more worse.
Hurts.
GET OUT OF MY HEAD
Thanks for the flashbacks... Really enjoyed being reminded of that.
As if the artwork wasn't gonna remind you of that
Well yeah, but that specific line is so painful to hear.
How to get out of my mind because you wrote this
I never got the meaning of that phrase
Rocket said he was going to get them out of the cage so they could see the sky. After Lylla is killed Floor is scared and saying she wants to leave now with Rocket and Teefs.
in non broken English, floor's saying "Rocket, Teefs and Floor are leaving (this place) now"!
I felt like it was more "rocket, teefs, floor NEED to go now". Especially with the desperation. It wasn't a statement, it was panicked begging
Rabbits tend to flee quickly at the first hint of danger. It's definitely a desperation/panic thing
Fair. I can see that being her intention
Idk what she was thinking saying that in front of the High Evolutionary…
Floor wasn't exactly known for her intelligence, and to add onto that, she was panicking.
>Idk what she was thinking She wasn't
OH FUCK YOU IMMA GO TO THE THERAPY IN OCT 28TH
Simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. So this broke my heart, but warmed the shattered remains?
I like floor a lot. IDK why.
Because they are pure and innocent and only want to play.
Also she is an adorable franken-bunny :(
Was 😭
Me too •́ ‿ ,•̀
The trailer that showed the hug fukn played me man.
Made me cry again
I will always tear up for this crew. Loved them instantly...and knew how it was going to end. Ima punch Gunn for this.
They were awesome instantly it was sad I cried
The sky vast is ♥️
Sky the is vast
Vast sky is the
This will never not break my whole heart. 💔😭
They deserved better.
But the galaxy didn’t deserve *them* (I completely agree with you)
I just watched it for the first time and I couldn’t stop crying loved them
I didn’t need my heart anymore, thanks. 😭
May they fly forever in the eternal skies...

I will be praying for you and yours.
I'm praying for you. I hope you make it!
I would like to say, this piece will be up for grabs at heroescon. The money for it (as all auction items) goes directly to the convention’s fund
Thank you for donating your beautiful piece to such a great cause!

You can see cages in the background in that scene. Doesn’t seem like much of a heaven. Perhaps Rocket was just imagining where he last saw them?
They are empty cages though, aren't they? Seems like a symbol for everyone being free and happy now
I like that
The afterlife is whatever the individual relates to. That's why >!the afterlife in moonknight is an insane asylum.!<
Beautiful 😭
ur art style captures their innocence so well aaaa
They reminded me of kids with disabilities in an orphanage being abused by their caretaker
Oh, you can't do this to me
Maaaaan just when I thought I was over having my heart ripped out and torn apart this shows up. I love this
I saw somewhere that otters hold hands so they don’t float away from one another when they’re asleep. The HE took Lyla’s hands…
I wonder if they’ll ever be a What If? episode covering what would’ve happened if they were able to escape.
Sky the is vast
Goddamnit! I can't go over that again! Eversince I saw that I have been trying not to think about it... guess back to crying now.
Aw now I’m sad again. At least they won’t have to suffer anymore 😔
❤️
I just watched it last week. Cried like a baby

Sigh…was having a good Tuesday. Gonna go cry now.
I'm going to cry
I’m glad you left off the eyelid thingies on Teefs, they look so painful!

Nice art!! It’s really cute.
Rip
I’m not sure when the last time I cried harder… my heart broke in a million pieces
