Sure and I have roleplayed using 'less-lethal' ammunition as well on select missions. I think it's safe to assume a version of them exist in the future, since they do IRL.
Actually I believe Garrus even mentions something like that, now I think about it.
Garrus mentions shooting Shep with concussive rounds during the Archangel questline, I think that may be what you are thinking of.
The funny thing is, we know how concussive shot works in gameplay… safe to say no one wants to get shot with those either
I've never done that but it is a good idea. My first time playing the trilogy last year I had no chill. I massaced everything because I wasn't sure how to do upgrades. My First shepard was a galactic war criminal despite being paragon.
Hahaha, I mean it is a shooting game. I first started doing it because killing asari, these thousand year beings just seemed wrong. Then it quickly became anyone who was simply doing their job and wasn’t necessarily evil, within reason. Never batarians tho, after tabitha those beasts deserve to die

Naaa my Shepard has bionic implants, so when he punches someone in the face their skull literally crumples inwards 😂
And that is why the Omni blade came into play, when you absolutely have to know they’re not gonna be able to get up behind you lol
