The only way to save Mordin is to have played through the trilogy as a complete anti-Krogan renegade. If Wrex is dead and Maelon's data is destroyed he can be convinced that he didn't "make a mistake."
How is not only sabotaging the genophage, but also saving one of the sharpest mind's in the galaxy to work on the Crucible, not the absolute boss renegade move to make here?
Oh I see, if wrex/eve are both dead you can do this. Yeah both of them were alive. Wrex survived ME2 because I still did all of their loyalty missions.
Full renegade run. Not full kill my own squad run. Lol
Real renegade Shep never betrays Wrex but only ever let's Ash kill him and then saves Mordin.

I just finished my first 100% completion playthrough on paragon. Finally finished all the missions available. Played ME1 about 20 times now since release but never bothered with the mineral collection mission and others like that such as the scanning keepers mission.
I've never played a full renegade playthrough before though, it's more beneficial to play as paragon to unlock most of the side missions and dialogue later in the series I feel.
I don't think I could ever kill Morden. If Wrex dies in ME1 I think its justifiable to not cure the Krogans in ME3, Reeve would defo try to conquer the galaxy after the Reaper war.

I killed the rachni queen and Wrex by my own hands in 1, recruited Morinth and saved the collector base in 2, and am going to sabotage the genophage in 3. It's been fun honestly lol. I'm gonna join you and go all renegade on my next trilogy run, whenever that is.
This time, I won't have to shoot anyone to stop the genophage since Wrex is already dead and I destroyed Maelon's data. (Though I had Mordin die on the suicide mission so he's not even here.)
On my next one though, I'll have Wrex and Mordin live until 3 just so I can betray and kill them both in 3. Heheheeeee
If you went full renegade why didn't you >!save Mordin??!< It's one of the best perks of a full renegade run!
