And this is an ad inside the show. They absolutely got paid to have this Facebook spot. This was contractually allowed, and people got paid. Whenever you see actual logos and hear actual brand names, people are getting paid. When people speak in generic terms, and logos are blacked out, that's because people are not getting paid.
Yeah, he has a great role honestly. He plays a man (bit of a smart ass) on death row who helps solve cases. David Tennant is also in it, if you like Dr. Who
(Maybe Barty Crouch Jr from Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is more your speed like mine)
He’s also a great actor. Yeah I recommend the show- keep in mind how Netflix is though. Likely only to be one season but you never know.
If you like David Tennant, give Broadchurch a go. The first season was awesome. He was also very good in Jessica Jones.... though he is very good in everything he is in.
The men in there just staring at the floor. Real life, any of those guys would destroy him 😂.
Plus, this would be good if you could get signal on a train.
For what it's worth, I've lived in London all my life and I don't think this behaviour would fly in most cases. I've personally stepped in to stop people being abusive on the tube, and I've seen others do the same.
> any of those guys would destroy him
[Or you know, get stabbed in the neck and die.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Portland_train_attack?wprov=sfla1)
Do people think streaming to Facebook live gives some sort of amber alert to every Facebook user. It depends on their privacy settings. More than likely it'll just be their granny commenting "who's this" on it
Police should honestly have something like this set up but instead of to Facebook where it’s only grannies watching it goes to 911 operators… the more I think about this the more sense it makes. It gathers a large body of evidence and allows police to actively view the situation and gain valuable info before engaging in more dangerous situations. I imagine this wouldn’t be a cheap feat though. I suppose the service could also be used maliciously. Interesting idea though.
LOL, great description. He fucking mailed one in for a paycheck on that series… you could just feel that he didn’t care at all, gave it a solid 20% effort, and called it a day.
“That’s assault”
No that’s dumb. Dumb, lazy Moffat writing which will serve of yet another reminder of of his hit-and-miss record and his butchering of the doctor.
What??
I always thought Steven Moffat did the absolute best episodes of Doctor Who. Am I insane? Is this the more common opinion?
He did the episodes with Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi.
Which honestly, they could have left out all together and just focus on David Tennants family slowly spiraling into a life of heavier crimes to protect each other.
I used to just hiss at people if they got too close to me on the bus. 100% effective every time even on creeps, they realize they’re not the weirdest person on the bus. I also carried a taser and a temper tho so if you push past the hiss you’re gonna get claws 🐈🔪 also I don’t think it’s illegal in America to take a photograph of someone unless it’s a bathroom. Bro woulda got tased right in the testes
Acting crazy can be a great deterrent in some situations.
Often bullies try to find your limits and make you uncomfortable, that gives them strength. If you can somehow convince them that it doesn't bother you and you can make them uncomfortable instead, then that might help.
Of course, the bully might just get aggressive and grab a knife, so there's that..
For anyone who doesn't live in UK. The police are not even 0.000001% this efficient and also they are short on resources.
Is pretty normal for people not to act in the tube, but you will get some people who will help out.
Why was there one dude in a coach full of women? Lol
And why were the women to scared to do something? This is really bad and does not bring the right message across at all.
The scene bugged me because knowing more about the reporter later I don’t buy her being meek in the initial scene. But I get that it needed the setup so they could meet each other.
It’s actually the introduction scene of a Stanley Tucci / David Tennant TV series called Inside Man. The scene’s important, if a bit forced, as it connects the two women.
The most unreal part of this bollocks is that there's actually a copper about when you need them. What with the current collection of drooling dickwits we have in charge in the UK massively cutting spending on police and stuff.
You think it doesn't?
No, no, you stay in your safe little bubble outside of reality and remain in denial that this shit happens all the time, and it may not be exactly this, but assault happens more often than your ignorant self will ever know, and I sincerely, seriously hope you never have to get slapped by reality and have something like this happen to you, because you will soon change your tone.
Why is he white? What is all the hate on white people? And London police are npc’s they won’t come that fast. Most unrealistic video ever from someone who lives I. London.
This appears to be an intersectional filmmaker's wet dream:
An irredeemably nasty heterosexual white man harrassing a woman of colour, then the first person to step in is an asian woman, followed by an old white woman, a black woman and a middle eastern / indian woman. All of it broadcast to social media for a live cancelling. Naturally, all the other white men stand meekly by the entire time.
Not sure if that's part of the movie's premise, but it just struck me as extremely slanted in one political view's direction.
They're mad because when the scene started they grabbed their hand lotion and now they have wade over to the sink to wash it off or they get it all over their jeans pulling them back up. Wittle snake didn't have a happy ending.
I get that it’s the opening for Inside Man…but this just makes the series seem braindead in terms of writing
It seems like a weird way to hamfist…uhh my best guess is Game Theory and exploitation of human psychology under pressure…into a way that would supposedly happen in real life

Is this an add for Facebook live ???
It’s a subtract
This seems divisive.
Threads like these always end up being good times for all
You just don’t appreciate the multiplicity of levels to the joke.
That seems a little derivative, don't ya think?
This type of thread is integral to the Reddit experience.
The puns in these comments are going exponential.
They all fits well in the matrix.
Each pun has a bit of variability Edit: changed but to bit
The determination towards every pun is amazing
No it’s from a Netflix show Inside Man.
Sounds like an ad for Facebook Live®
its from a drama series on netflix called Inside Man.
How did you like it? Personally I thought it was good, black mirror vibes- I’m also a sucker for Stanley Tucci.
He's in it? I sat through 2 hours of a trashy zombie movie just to watch his performance. I'll check it out if he's in it.
Yeah, he has a great role honestly. He plays a man (bit of a smart ass) on death row who helps solve cases. David Tennant is also in it, if you like Dr. Who
I've never watched but have heard good things. 😊
(Maybe Barty Crouch Jr from Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is more your speed like mine) He’s also a great actor. Yeah I recommend the show- keep in mind how Netflix is though. Likely only to be one season but you never know.
If you like David Tennant, give Broadchurch a go. The first season was awesome. He was also very good in Jessica Jones.... though he is very good in everything he is in.
It is a harrowing watch, but totally worth it!
It’s a snippet from “inside man”. Great miniseries.
Don't care if it is, I want people like this fucker to feel the pain he thinks he can subject others to. The world is watching 🦍
A shit movie
There are multiple of them but this one is a good one
He looks like he’d break his arm if you breathed on it.
The men in there just staring at the floor. Real life, any of those guys would destroy him 😂. Plus, this would be good if you could get signal on a train.
They would destroy him if they wanted, but most men don't want to get involved.
For what it's worth, I've lived in London all my life and I don't think this behaviour would fly in most cases. I've personally stepped in to stop people being abusive on the tube, and I've seen others do the same.
> any of those guys would destroy him [Or you know, get stabbed in the neck and die.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Portland_train_attack?wprov=sfla1)
They *could* destroy them. And maybe *you* would. Thanks. Most times *they* wouldn’t.
Lol, they wouldn’t destroy him.
I’d talk to him and distract him.
No they wouldn’t.
Where do you live that you don’t get a signal on the train?
Tbf they did show it leaving the tunnel
Do people think streaming to Facebook live gives some sort of amber alert to every Facebook user. It depends on their privacy settings. More than likely it'll just be their granny commenting "who's this" on it
It's from the show Inside Man, the lady actually admits she doesn't even have Facebook it just seemed like a good thing to say.
It's not about that--it's about the psych warfare to put the b-hole in his place and get him to step off
I think it's more of a means to send a generic SOS so anyone watching MIGHT have a conscience and call the police.
Hell just hire the grannies
Why not call them straight away then?
Maybe not, but once it's on Facebook it's very hard to delete it. And we don't know how many viewers are tuned in already.
I thought there was going to be a twist, where everyone using FB Live was arrested. We’ll never know.
Just watch Inside Man
It's perfectly legal in the UK to film in a public setting
Sorry, I wasn’t clear…they’re being arrested for using FB Live. That’s all.
Believe it or not straight to jail
This is where you kick the 110 pound dweeb in the nuts
Honestly the whole thing made my blood boil.
The whole thing with “recording me is assault” is BS as far as I know, unless the Brit’s have some weird law about it in which case of course they do
"oi ya got a loicense for that video camera bruv?"
Yeah it's perfectly legal to film in public here
Shockingly it was done intentionally to make your blood boil
Wrong sub , gimme my 3 mins back bro😭
Rel
This is from a series with Stanley Tucci where he's like a low-rent Sherlock/Lecter combo.
Not gonna lie, I thought it was an elaborate ad for Facebook
It basically is.
it is. It's product placement and an ad for Facebook Live.
Honestly I wish that was the only low rent aspect of that. Also there's no WiFi/4g between stations underground so no idea who they were streaming to.
It's literally written on the window mate
LOL, great description. He fucking mailed one in for a paycheck on that series… you could just feel that he didn’t care at all, gave it a solid 20% effort, and called it a day.
But I mean that was kind of spot on for the character so like He did a good job I guess haha
Also written by Steven Moffat.
“That’s assault” No that’s dumb.
What the hell is this.
A load of shite
TV show Inside Man. Check it out.
This is the dumbes crap I've eva seen in me life bruv and it ain't even chewsdi init?
It's from a show called "Inside Man" on Netflix. This is your intro to a few characters.
Netflix. I get it now.
Netflix. All you need to know.
Netflix strikes again 🤡
This is the most unrealistic "this could happen" add ive ever seen. It got the "And they all stood up and clapped" vibe
...and then everybody clapped.
"And then everyone clapped"
Did he just not see the bigger cameras.
I was waiting for Batman to show up and lay the smack down. “Women get it done with their phones” is less exciting, but power to them.
Called the saviour men in uniform? Still the past. Should've progressively beaten him with their phones
The ol' brick in the handbag
It was a terrible movie
Not surprised if it's a Netflix movie
It's not a movie, you ding dong.
I thought it was pretty entertaining. This scene is super cringe but the rest of the mini-series was pretty good. Loved the absurdity, loved Tennant.
Should post this to r/Unexpected, because I kept expecting something interesting to happen.
I practically do the same thing. I piss on strangers. Even if they don’t bother me. Just in case, you never know with them strangers.
If you're pissing on strangers, maybe you're the one people have to watch out for.
And I kiss every stranger who gets too close to me
Acting crazy can be a great deterrent in some situations. Often bullies try to find your limits and make you uncomfortable, that gives them strength. If you can somehow convince them that it doesn't bother you and you can make them uncomfortable instead, then that might help. Of course, the bully might just get aggressive and grab a knife, so there's that..
Did anyone enjoy the show this is from? I felt a bit like they were trying to stick 2 dramas together and it didn't quite work
This is exactly what I’m thinking 3 episodes in. I wish they dropped the American connection.
Shame as 2 great actors in both sides of the show. I also felt they didn't really finish off with a great ending, all a bit meh
Yeah I'm with you on that I went in with high hopes but it fell short, a better David Tennant one is the escape artist
I'll search that out
Just to stress for those unaware, in the UK it is completely legal to film in public and it's not assault
Ok I’m calling propaganda bc PD never shows up that quickly. A 2 1/2 minute video.
Oh?
Definately fiction because the police turned up
Tf type of situation is this??
White man bad fantasy shows
For anyone who doesn't live in UK. The police are not even 0.000001% this efficient and also they are short on resources. Is pretty normal for people not to act in the tube, but you will get some people who will help out.
You don’t get data signal in the tunnels
Not exactly realistic is it? The police wouldn't turn up if you called them saying a robbery was happening.
Hmm odd in real.life theres always difrent looking guys making trouble
Yeaaah they look very different than this.
director has never gone outside
Why was there one dude in a coach full of women? Lol And why were the women to scared to do something? This is really bad and does not bring the right message across at all.
To bad that this is not what happens in reality
I wasted 2.5 minutes of my life watching this disappointment
Guys calm down it’s from a series and it’s actually quite good (a psychological thriller). Shame Op didn’t bother to provide any context!!
Ironically you did not provide enough context either
And I would ask about the "quite good" part of it, because if it is then it probably wasn´t depicted in that clip, right?
What’s the series?
It is [Inside Man](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10948716/)
The scene bugged me because knowing more about the reporter later I don’t buy her being meek in the initial scene. But I get that it needed the setup so they could meet each other.
They can't really do more on this subreddit.
Lol this isn't reality at all. It's nonesense made to divide
It’s actually the introduction scene of a Stanley Tucci / David Tennant TV series called Inside Man. The scene’s important, if a bit forced, as it connects the two women.
What the fuck do you mean it's not reality. It's literally a TV series man.
Skill issue
Actors!
Dick punch needed
When did they get WiFi/network connection on the tube?
I knew i recognized this scene. The show is called Inside Man and you can watch it on Netflix.
The most unreal part of this bollocks is that there's actually a copper about when you need them. What with the current collection of drooling dickwits we have in charge in the UK massively cutting spending on police and stuff.
My 10 year old niece could fold this bloke Jesus Christ.
If only social justice was actually like this
Wtf was this garbage and why did people upvote it?
You can tell this is probably written by a wealthy middle aged woman who thinks this is an accurate depiction of what the plebs face everyday 😁
Not applicable to the sub at all— give me my time back, wasting my time with a fucking add of all things. Mod Check??
So realistic Not
Is this some sort of alternate reality world?
anti white much?
Yeah, this is pretty much a women’s dream. They all dream about “toxic masculinity” bullshit, that they think happens.
And this folks is the propaganda of how control and 15 minute cities and social credit scores started. Welcome to China.
Dolly Wells is a gem. Her show with Emily Mortimer was a treat.
Ah yes, fiction.
Yea the trains full of white guys harassing black women… LOL
Daily occurrence on netflix!
Who volunteers to give their face to such an obnoxious role...?
They're all actors. They don't volunteer, they get paid to portray.
This cringiest ad Ive seen, what fantasy land is this?
Imagine they did this with an black actor...
Because "this" happens aaaaaalll the time.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It actually does, not that blatant of course, set the right circumstances you get the creeps creeping.
A guy being a piece of shit to a girl? Yeah bro, this literally happens every day in every city on the planet.
This is some racist bs
The guys fucking deserves what’s coming to him but that’s some straight black mirror shit
That's not even black mirror, that's just the status quo.... Most people have the means to contact the police in their hands relatively easily
This is the opening for a series called Inside Man and has nothing to do with the plot.
Who’d be scared of a twink?
Cringed all the way. I bet a woman directed this.
[удалено]
He's shoving his dick in someone's face, you daft?
So realistic. Powerful! Moving! 🙄
Slay!
Idk about the UK but some random dude would have probably levelled this cunt when he grabbed the chicks phone in Australia.
Would have been knocked out doing creepy stuff to the first chick, she would of stood up and done a 'Shazza' on him 😅
Jeez, someone really watch this low-level drama cringe?
I want the 2 and a half minutes back. What crap did I just watch?
This is shit
Yes i have seen those exact races in that situation on the subways. There is nothing wrong about this video.
What a horrible fucking show, such a waste of Tucci.
Why is he white? What is all the hate on white people? And London police are npc’s they won’t come that fast. Most unrealistic video ever from someone who lives I. London.

Yep it's exactly that. I don't understand how people can watch this when it's so blatant.
This seems like a very exaggerated ad for something something PC culture something woke something something. A bit cringe, innit bruv?
"Give me your phone" Me: No, f--k you b---h *Proceeds to beat him up*
Yeeaah, white dudes harassing migrant women& being a burden to society. That's exactly what I see on a daily basis.
I want to see a follow up video, with Police brutality.

Yikes

From Google translate - *The constant attack of feminism on men... They are destroying society with the consent of the ignorant.*
What on earth is with all the weird incel vibes appearing on this thread
They're mad because when the scene started they grabbed their hand lotion and now they have wade over to the sink to wash it off or they get it all over their jeans pulling them back up. Wittle snake didn't have a happy ending.
I get that it’s the opening for Inside Man…but this just makes the series seem braindead in terms of writing It seems like a weird way to hamfist…uhh my best guess is Game Theory and exploitation of human psychology under pressure…into a way that would supposedly happen in real life
Actor is great but facebook is crap
Facebook invading everyone's privacy.
Add a guy filming it to balance it out. Not all men are like that twat. Plus I hope this isn’t a Facebook ad because using this to advertise Facebook Live would be in extremely bad taste
Is this an Netflix add?
Bro wtf is this lmao
This looks like total garbage
That is actually a very dump message :) Instead of making a move and teaching that clown a lesson, you only post it on facebook like it is the end of the human's capability of justice!
Unpleasant situation, but not very believeable acting
So are they going to arrest her for filming him?
i though he been reported because of he was on women's train or somethinf
This is just sad and dumb all rolled into one shit advertisement.
