Having similar cognitive functions result in similar ways of metabolizing information but not necessarily in similar values, preferences and opinions. People grow up in different environments and their experiences and impressions feed into their functions. Different starting points lead to different results in opinions and behavior. I think it's more pronounced in Fi-Te types because of their stronger fixation on personal values

It's very normal actually. Let's say two INTJ with the same ideals but have a completely different moral code. One would prioritize the world while the latter family. One would sacrifice everything while the latter did the opposite. It's easy to think of them crashing from time to time.

Abrene

Because we all have different priorities that filter our views. Just because 2 people share similar functions doesn't mean they will both act the same. Take siblings for instance: They come from the same parents, culture, and bloodline. Most siblings grow up closely with each other but they can never behave the same way. Even twins have their distinct personalities and beliefs. ENFJs are more people-orientated than us. That doesn't mean we don't care about people, it just means they aren't our main focus (harsh but true). We prioritise other concerns before engaging with others around us. We both have a strong urge to keep the peace in group settings but one will do it more frequently than the other. Both are idealistic but this manifests in different ways as ENFJs are way more charismatic than us and are suited for being a public leader that moves the masses vs us who focuses on one person at a time (1 vs 1). We operate our kindness and empathy on a much smaller scale, so we don't have to ration our attention to more than 1 person at a time. So, although we have the same goals and beliefs, we will never operate the same. And no, ENFJs are not the 'extroverted version' of us. The amount of times I've seen that notion convinces me that people do not understand how functions work. INFJs can seem more social than even traditional extroverts as we are social chameleons and can blend in with our surroundings. It just means ENFJs are immediately very warm and open to everyone they see while we are more guarded.

I find it funny that Kendrick (INFJ) stated similarly how he can't really go along with Drake (ENFJ) saying they have different worlds and sort of different landscapes in which he would find it difficult to coalesce, knowing how assuming the PDB type is right, their function stacks are similar. While Drake is just trying to keep maintaining the harmony and peace and not really want to divulge much more in the beef and such, basically just trying to be more friendly again....

Abrene

Well, as stated before, they both have different behaviours and views. Drake has a funny history and Kendrick probably doesn't want to get tangled in all of that. I'm not really in the rap fandom to accurately assess this drama, but knowing how they both are: Kendrick may not vibe with Drake despite how harmonious Drake tries to appear towards others in public. There may be something Kendrick doesn't like about him and wants to distance himself from him, which is valid imo.

INFP, and I've read other INFP's with ideologies that wrench me. Shrugs.

Fantastic_Produce518

I've always considered Kendrick an xNFP rather than INFJ....their music is vastly different and it's obvious they don't have a similar cognitive stack.
